Stop At: Hampton Court Palace, A308, East Molesey KT8 9AU England

A comprehensive tour of Hampton Court palace tailored to your historic interests. I can also be in Tudor or Victorian authentic costume (note, no adults allowed in period costume). Children can wear what they like!
I cover all aspects of the Palace's history including tales of Henry VIII, Ghostly stories, Grace & Favour, and all others who have lived there.
You will see a Palace in two halves, half Tudor, half Baroque. Highlights include Henry's Great Hall, the Haunted Gallery, King Williams spectacular Staircase, Guard Chamber and the beautiful Versailles style gardens.

My husband arranged a private tour with Sheila as a belated 60th birthday treat, as it’s something I’ve always wanted to do. I cannot recommend Sheila enough - we spent 3 1/2 hours going round the Palace & the time just flew by. Sheila is extremely knowledgeable & eloquent. She made life at the palace in Tudor times come to life, as well as telling us some really spooky & interesting tales. I absolutely loved my tour & can’t thank Sheila enough for taking me off the beaten track, as an extra treat.

Never in my life have I been on such a tour as this one that Sheila took us on today. I feel I can truly say that she brought out the most enrapturing of places and people in what is the most wonderful Hampton Court. Sheila's tours speak volumes about the history of the many rooms and artifices of the palace, as well as the tales of the many monarchs and grace-and-favour residents that lived within its walls. She brings out a wonderfully unique side of the palace unlike any other tour I have been on before. Sheila's knowledge of the palace spans across its numerous aspects like the history that spans across many decades within. Her truly remarkable knowledge, which is bespoke to her group, shines a captivating light on Hampton's grandeur as well as its lesser known parts. Sheila's eye for detail and affinity for entrancing stories imbue a brilliant sense of something to the treasure that is Hampton Court. I had not thought it possible to love Tudor history any more than I did, but Sheila has proven me wrong with surely the most striking tour I will come to see. I was truly ravished by what she brought - and I am sure, brings everyday - to the palace and to my own experience of it. Her knowledge is what imbues meaning and she truly is part of the lifeblood of Hampton Court. I have enjoyed my time with Sheila on her tour today, and been truly delighted with it. This is truly one of the most remarkable experiences you will have at Hampton Court and I could not recommend it more - it will surely become one of the highlights of your trip here. I will most definitely be returning when I visit the UK again in a few years' time!

Sheila was excellent! She was very knowledgeable of Hampton Court Palace. She kept our 13-year-old daughter engaged the entire tour. She was fascinated with all of Sheila’s stories about Henry VIII’s six wives and she loved the ghost stories of Hampton Court Palace.
