Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Pass By: Pulteney Bridge, Bridge Street, Bath BA2 4AT England

Our last stop will be a scenic tour of the historic city of Bath, originally built as a place of well-being and relaxation by the Romans over 2,000 years ago. Home to the country’s only natural thermal hot springs, Bath is a delightful city where the ancient world is intertwined with threads of medieval and more recent Georgian history. Our scenic drive of Bath provides an excellent introduction to the major sights of this beautiful city, including Pulteney Bridge, The Assembly Rooms and The Royal Crescent.

Afterwards, the time is yours to explore this beautiful city at your own pace. Wander its cobbled streets and explore the markets, or choose to visit the famous Roman Baths* and learn all about their history.

Pass By: No. 1 Royal Crescent, 1 Royal Crescent, Bath BA1 2LR England

The Royal Crescent is a row of 30 terraced houses laid out in a sweeping crescent in the city of Bath, England.

Stop At: The Roman Baths, Abbey Church Yard, Bath BA1 1LZ England

The Roman Baths complex is a site of historical interest in the English city of Bath. It is a well-preserved Roman site once used for public bathing.

The Roman Baths themselves are below the modern street level. There are four main features: the Sacred Spring, the Roman Temple, the Roman Bath House and the museum, holding finds from Roman Bath. The buildings above street level date from the 19th century.

The Baths are a major tourist attraction and, together with the Grand Pump Room, receive more than one million visitors a year. Visitors can tour the baths and museum but cannot enter the water.

(if option selected to include entry to Roman Baths)

Duration: 1 hour

Pass By: The Jane Austen Centre, 40 Gay Street, Bath BA1 2NT England

Small museum chronicling the life and times of the famous writer, Jane Austen, plus Regency tearoom.

Stop At: Stonehenge, Salisbury SP4 7DE England

Step back in time 5,000 years as we visit the best-known prehistoric monument in Europe. Take a step inside the reconstructed Neolithic houses, furnished with replica axes, pottery and other artefacts, and listen as our guide brings the fascinating history of Stonehenge to life. Who built Stonehenge? Why was it built? Discover the answer to these questions and learn how it was constructed using rudimental tools and stone from quarries hundreds of miles away. In the world-class exhibition centre, you’ll get the chance to come face-to-face with a 5,500-year-old man and over 250 ancient objects.

Our guide, Mel was outstanding. A historian with a fine sense of humour and very high on keeping all of us engaged through out the day tour. Told us about the small places en route and of course the history of Stonehenge and Baths. The luxury coach was a 2x2 with good seats (nothing broken as sometimes one would find) and good sound system (that's a must when you want to hear every word your guide is saying). The audio kits for the Bath city tour were a fantastic idea to keep hearing Mel. The only hitch was that there was no wifi on board that was committed. Merrick (our driver) was a fine man with safe driving skills and we completed the whole tour like a dream. Will always choose Evan Evans Tour for London.

I bought this Tour because I thought it was a great way to visit Stonehenge and Bath, and also, it had good reviews there. The tour guide was included and I expected it to be very interesting. Surprisingly, the tour guide Andy was an administrator only - organised tickets and timing. We heard just a few sentences about those famous places which was very disappointing. I cannot understand how a tour guide doesn't do any tour. Later, he asked us to leave him positive reviews on Trip Adviser - for WHAT?.. sorry... Very unprofessional and disappointing - never again... Ina

Was the best tour! Our guide MEL absolutely made the day. Informative, historically interesting, really good listening for us "punters". Could've been a very conservative day sightseeing on a bus but it was very entertaining! 5 stars for Mel and the sights of course. Bus driver was a champ too!
