Stop At: Windsor Castle, Castle Hill, Windsor SL4 1PD England

The town of Windsor is best known for its historical links to the British royal family, and it is suitably steeped in pageantry and history.
Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world.
It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King.
Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV.
Many of the works of art are still in the historic settings for which they were first collected or commissioned by the kings and queens who have lived at Windsor.

Amazing to see it all in 1 day, the tradeoff is limited time at each site 1-1.5 hours. Know this going into it. I read the other reviews and glad I went! Things I wish I knew ahead of time: bring bottled water, multiple bottles. No hot food or hot drinks permitted on the coach bus. Bring snacks & preferably your lunch, these sights have many other coach buses & people, there will be lines for toliets, entry to parts of main sites, and cafes in/near these places. Time is short at each sight so to maximize the time plan this way. The tour guide & driver were excellent & always providing direction how to maximizetime at each location and the highlights to see. Loved Andrew's humor! Tour meets in the Victoria coach bus station and you must check-in with the person with clipboard and get your bracelet & bus gate instructions. Arriving earlier is better. Also bring cash to tip the guide & driver at the end of tour, they cannot accept cards or other forms of payment.
