Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Windsor Castle, Castle Hill, Windsor SL4 1PD England

Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King.

Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. Many of the works of art are still in the historic settings for which they were first collected or commissioned by the kings and queens who have lived at Windsor.

Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the Castle with a free multimedia tour. From October to March, visitors can also walk through the sumptuous Semi-State Apartments, which served as the private rooms of George IV in the 19th century.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Stonehenge, Salisbury SP4 7DE England

Travel back in time to Neolithic Britain and come face-to-face with a 5,500-year-old man and over 250 prehistoric objects at the world-class visitor exhibition centre. Visit the mysterious monument at Stonehenge and learn how it was built using rudimental tools and stone from quarries hundreds of miles away, as well as its link to the Summer and Winter solstice.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: University of Oxford, University Offices 1 Wellington Square, Oxford OX1 2JD England

Our final stop is Oxford, famous for its university; the University of Oxford the oldest in the English-speaking world and has many prestigious colleges and notable alumni, including Stephen Hawking, J. R. R. Tolkien, Bill Clinton and countless others. Some were founded by monarchs, such as Christ Church College, which was set up by King Henry VIII in 1546.

Oxford itself is known for its distinctive architecture and holds the unique accolade of having examples of every architectural period going as far back as Saxon times. Wander its quaint cobbled streets on a walking tour of the city with our expert tour guide, who will bring the history and charm of this ancient city to life.

Saúl and María did great, Saúl diction in both languages is very clear and easy to follow. We regret we don’t have more time to expend in Oxford. But they were on time and very trustworthy.

Great trip and tour guide, very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we couldn’t go to Windsor castle due to the day, so make sure to review the closing dates. It was a little longer than expected but overall great.

Mel was phenomenal! Great sites. Heritage at Stonehenge needs to allow our coach to take us up to the site though. Oxford was very interesting.

Robert was great! He had a story for every building and an easy, relaxed manner. Wassim was a pleasant, skillful driver. We knew we were in for a busy day and, to be honest, we will want to come back to these sites for longer visits. But the day turned out sunny and temperate (after a few showers), so we got lots of nice pictures in a very short time! If you only have a day, and want to pack In as much as possible, I highly recommend this tour. If you can pick a relatively sunny day, that's a definite bonus!
