The true meaning of this ancient, awe-inspiring creation has been lost in the mists of time. Was Stonehenge a temple for sun worship, a healing centre, a burial site or perhaps a huge calendar? This was a great tour, the tour guide Bruce was informative, funny and engaging. He worked hard all day to keep us on time and interested. I would highly recommend this tour. Armando the bus driver was great also. Be mindful this is a very long tour, but well worth it.I do believe that a tour guide makes or breaks a tour! Bruce made this one Thank-you!

Honestly quite a poor experience aside from the included transport being shuttled between these sites. Our guide Therese was disinterested and this was also observed by other groups, often referring to the Stonehenge as a “pile of rocks in a field”. I’m sure the experience would be highly dependent on this however, and other guides would vary.

What made this tour a 4/5 was Bruce, our guide. Just the right humour, a lot of patience and heaps of knowledge. We had a beautiful day at Windsor and were lucky to be one of the first groups in the queue to get in so our tour was not crowded. I could have spend more time here, and found the time allotted was too short, with no time to wander the town. The journey to Bath took some time, but was pleasant and Bruce enlightened us a bit on the journey. The Baths were interesting, but the self guided tour of the Baths is long - just a warning, and if you want to have time to look at other things, you need to keep this in mind as it eats up the entire time allotted in Bath. It was nice to have Stonehenge at the end of the day as there weren't as many crowds in the late afternoon. I would recommend that Golden Tours offers a bit more direction as to where to catch the bus/coach. I am very adept with navigating new locations and was never sure if I quite knew where I was going. ;) And when we did find Stop 1, an attendant told us to go to another stop, and when I asked him if it was located on Buckingham Palace Road (it was) he said, no, its just around the corner. A few more simple directions would have made finding the bus stops much easier as Victoria station is a very busy place. Simply noting "follow signs for coaches" would have been helpful to many tourists.

Windsor castle was beautiful, but we needed more time to stay there than the tour conductor allowed. He was so concerned about getting there early and keeping our schedule of leaving that I felt rushed. One hour isn’t enough time. The trip to bath was nice but could’ve been cut shorter and time added to Windsor Castle viewing.

Fantastic whirlwind tour of each location. You get 30-60 minutes at each location with a little extra time here and there to grab a gelato along the way. A great deal for the price and plenty of exposure at each site to fulfill your curiosity and to “check the box”. If you want to spend more time at each location I recommend a more dedicated tour to one location or hire a car. This is a FAST tour. Bring food for the ride! The bus’s air conditioner is nice and cold so bring something to stay warm with on the bus. Amerish our driver and Del out guide were superb!
