This tour was supposed to include: Panoramic Gondolas and Aerial Cableway Dragon Ride Cogwheel Train 1-Hour Boat Ride on Lake Lucerne. The only thing we did was the cogwheel train. Very disappointed. Viatour certainly knew that the gondola, aerial cableway and boat ride on Lake Lucerne were not running during the scheduled time. We were given no notice of this until we showed up for the tour. Mt. Pilatus was nice but overall it was very disappointing and frustrating.

I highly recommend this excursion to Mt Pilatus! It was the highlight of our 11 day trip to Europe! You will be assigned a guide for the group! Our group had about 20. She spoke several languages but we could understand her English perfectly! She was AWESOME! Layer up as it will be cold and windy at the top! But, you will want to remove the layers for the boat after! It was a mountaintop experience and worth the price of admission!

We were issued a ticket to enjoy this trip on July 2nd, 2022, by La Vacanza Travel TripAdvisor. My credit card was charged. Nevertheless, when we arrived at the starting site, we were informed that our reservation “had been cancelled.” Yolanda refused to allow us onto the tour despite my showing her the valid ticket. I am still trying to determine whether Yo Tours or TripAdvisor is responsible for issuing and charging for a ticket, then reneging on it, but the system is not a trustworthy one. To be fair, Yo Tours had attempted to message me to say they were going to refuse service, but I am at a loss to understand how a tour can be ticketed, run with other participants, then withheld. Word to the wise, we were able to purchase the same trip later that day at the public ticket station down by the Lucerne dock for half the price.
