Ice floes like in the Antarctic break off here on warm days and trigger whole tidal waves. An overwhelming natural spectacle around the idyllic glacier lake. • Unique feelings and relaxation are guaranteed here. Our tour guide (environmental expert MSc ETH Zurich) will tell you a lot of background information about the origin of this lake and how it will continue with Switzerland due to climate change. Also beautiful mountain flowers like gentians and depending on the season orchids are findable.
Important: Most of the places we visit are within walking distance. However, the glacier lake can only be seen in an overall two-hour hike with good footwear. Alternative: Idyllic mountain lake (see picture)

On request visit to one of the best chocolatiers in Switzerland, which is also very well known abroad. Here you can buy really cheap chocolate and sometimes saves more than 60% compared to the normal store. Usually you can also have a look at the factory. Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment because renovation work is taking place.

Onward journey and short walk to a waterfall in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The perfect opportunity for exceptional photos behind the waterfall. Time to enjoy.
The waterfall can be reached in just 5 minutes. If it has rained the previous day, the way could be a bit slippery.
