This full-day tour will show your the two most interesting and important cities of the Canton Ticino in Switzerland. Lugano, because it has a sunny promenade on the lakeshore and is the third most important city of the country in the banking industry after Zurich and Geneva, and Bellinzona, because it is the capital of the Canton Ticino and has three medieval castles (UNESCO heritage from 2000).

Due to rain we toured Como & Lugano but skipped Bellinzona. Violetta was very knowledgeable about both towns & their histories. She was recommended by a friend who used her and I recommend her as well. She’s very pleasant to be with and made our day visiting Como & Lugano (both wonderful towns!!!) a highlight of our trip despite the rain!

The tour was much more than what I expected. The sights are breathtaking with a rich history. There is so much to see and explore. The tour guide, Viola was absolutely excellent, very knowledgeable and kept everything very interesting. I wish I would have had more time to have spent in the castles, which are one of a kind.

I have had a pleasure to have such an experienced and knowledgeable guide Violetta during our visit to Switzerland in April 2021. She has made me feel very warm and comfortable with her presence as well as our tour being very interesting and remarkable.
