One of the best massages ever !! The place is really relaxing beautiful . The service is great and it helps get you in the right mood, but the massage was THE best! The masseuse's name was Mercedes, really amazing !
The Hammam is very traditional and beautifully furnished. They have many nice extras like a variety of teas and waters and the bathrooms are fully equipped with all the necessities' and luxury toiletries needed for bathing and showering. The Hammam baths, pools, and steam rooms are plentiful and adequate. We all had massages and were very satisfied. We visited in August when it is very hot in Madrid which might explain the lack of warm and hot pools and as Covid restrictions had just been lifted, management set time limits for the pools which was a little frustrating but understandable.
Our allotted time was 10am with a 60 min massage. This was over €200. The ambience is nice but the lockers/changing area was very congested. We only had about 30 mins in the water before being called to our massage. No towel was provided until we had walked all the way to the massage room. As I was only in a bathing suit, I was pretty cold when I finally got to the massage room. I then had to stay in my wet costume with no chance to change into something dry. The massage WAS very good. But we were in a communal room with people coming and going whilst being massaged. We then had to go back to the changing room, no chance to shower and sit in a steam room. By which time the changing room was rammed. We were out at 11.40. So whilst it’s a great place and excellent masseuses, it was way overpriced and rushed. Won’t go back
Atmosphere is very calm and relaxing, not very busy when we arrived (8pm). Locker rooms ok and good lockers for storing clothes. I had the one hour massage which was average, not great. The steam room is really nice, we were the only people there. The baths are beautiful, and we stayed until 10:30 with no one rushing us to leave. We would go again.
Booked this for my husband and I to have a relaxing afternoon in Madrid and it was even better than I imagined. You change into your swimsuit in a locker room and then spend 15 to 30 minutes in the baths. There are various temperatures so you just move between baths in a beautiful candle-lit area. The massage rooms have three people to a room. We had one hour massages and had the room just the two of for half that time. After the massage you can rinse off and go back into the baths. My husband and I both loved our massages! They offer warm mint tea before, during and after your experience. There are showers in the locker room and lockers that you use a code to lock. They give you a bag to take your wet swimsuit home. Once you make the reservation you email them and they will set the time with you. I asked for either noon or 1400 and was given 1400.
