Pass By: Parque Nacional de la Sierra de Guadarrama, Camino de la Pedriza, s/n Por la Carretera M-604 desde Rascafria, 28410 Madrid Spain

The flight takes place over the Parque Regional del curso medio del Río Guadarrama, between Villanueva de La Cañada, Brunete and Quijorna. A beautiful landscape of low hills with pine trees and holm oaks.

The hot air ballon ride was wonderful. The tour operator communicated very well. Pick up and drop off was directly at our airbnb which was helpful. Watching them prepare the ballons for flight was almost as interesting and fun as the actual balloon ride. One thing to know is that climbing into and out of the basket could be challenging for older people or people who are overweight or out of shape but the tour people were awesome at assiting people with entry and exit. My only "compaint" for this excursion was saying that after the ballon ride a "Spanish buffett breakfast" would be provided. I assumed (I know my fault for assuming) this would be a sit down at table/facility for breakfast. Instead it was a card table set up in the field where we landed with mimosa and some salami and pepperoni with some crackers. You just had to stand and eat these snacks...no tables or seats. We had to stand for a good amount of time while the workers defalted the balloons and packed everything up before we could leave. Might be difficult for some people to stand that long...I ended up sitting on a rock in field. With that said, I still think this was an awesome excursion and I would do it again...it was probably my family's favorite thing we did during our week in Spain! Also the young men leading this excursion were all wonderful and did great jobs!! Love that we each got a "cerificate" at the end saying we bravely survived the hot air ballon ride!

Excellent. Beautiful views and it was guided really well. Highly recommend. About an hour in the air and the cava toast and snacks

It was an amazing experience. Exceptional views from up in the air. We also learnt some curiosities about flying in a hot-air ballon that made us enjoy even more the experience. The crew is very professional and made us feel safe during the flight. Moreover you received a very complete colection of photos and a video of the flight. I highly recommend the experience for everyone, we'll repet it for sure!

Watching the balloons get set up was almost as interesting as going up. It was very cool to see the landscape and town from such a low, yet aerial angle. Definitely a worthwhile experience. And the Cava helps! Only wish we had enough people to go to Guadarrama and not Segovia and that communication would have been clearer about that. I did not know I was going to Segovia until I was picked up

Such a fabulous tour!! Nyx was a great operator. Everything was run so professionally and I was especially appreciative that the van picked me up right outside my airbnb. This was a highlight of my trip and do well worth the money. I’ve already spread the good word about you all. 🤗
