It was a great experience, my first time and definitely not my last. Very calm atmosphere and the place was easy to find in the city. Loved the blower at the dressing rooms.
Wonderfully relaxing experience. There are three baths/pools: cool, medium, and warm, plus a steam room. We loved switching between the baths. We chose the Mydra massage option - the Kessa stone massage was not what we were expecting compared to the US but was a fabulous exfoliation instead. Ending with the relaxing massage was perfect. We were so happy we booked this on our last evening in Madrid to unwind after tons of walking. Book in advance because they will sell out!
Our first hammam experience was just amazing. We meet Franklin on arrival who provided all the information required and sent us on our way. After a short time relaxing in the pool we were then taken for our midra. It was so relaxing, thank you Sonraya. The facilities were clean and tidy. The amenities provided including ghd hairdryer and straightener. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience 10/10. Thank you :)
My partner and I visited here at 2:00pm on a Monday and had the best time. There are clear guidelines that you must follow like keeping your shoes covered when you enter the locker room, you must have a swimsuit although they will provide one if you forgot, and silence (or super low whisper) is crucial for the enjoyment of everyone. We speak pretty terrible Spanish but we managed to communicate really well with hand gestures, elementary Spanish, and common sense. My massage by Jose Antoni was great and my girlfriend loved hers as well (her masseuse spoke perfect English). It’s definitely not a traditional Swedish massage so temper expectations there. I also don’t think you can choose the sex of your masseuse but both of the men made us feel so comfortable and cared for. They were really thoughtful and tactful even when they asked me to take the top part of my one-piece off. The amenities are really luxe with great bath products in the end. The space is spotlessly clean and smells incredible. The water texture was so soft and silky which I didn’t know was possible. I do feel like we got lucky in a few instances: it wasn’t packed (there was MAYBE 3 other parties with us), we got our scrub/body wash and massage together, and we timed our bath rotation really nicely. To be clear, you have free range to go to whatever pools you want to at any time and you can rotate freely between them. Other reviews make it seem like you can’t but that’s not true. Also we felt like our stuff was really secure, not sure how people had stuff stolen. Overall, I highly recommend. We came out completely blissed out and relaxed which is literally impossible for me to do— I’m super uptight and stressed out 24/7. My girlfriend is still asleep 2 hours later. PRO TIPS: trust them and trust the experience. Ladies: wear something minimal yet tasteful or easily moveable if you are getting a massage. Try the cold bath straight to the hot bath. WOW!
Well-orchestrated 90-minute circuit of baths, kessa and massage services. Friendly and informed staff greeted us upon arrival. Explanations were made about the process and procedures. Then, we were shown to the changing rooms to store our belongings in lockers and start our session. The baths were calm and refreshing. The kessa and massage were solid. The massage was not in an exclusive/private room. The changing rooms were well stocked with the basic necessities. Overall, an atmosphere of calm and quiet that offered us 90-minutes of relaxation from the busyness of Madrid and traveling. The website's FAQ page offers great explanations. Very good experience.
