Welcoming tour Madrid

I chose this company because it can accomodate 5 person (incl 2 small kids) in a tuktuk which the other company with higher rating cannot. Despite the lower rating and higher price, i thought maybe those people are just unlucky. But turns out this company's ratings and reviews reflect their real unprofessionalism I rarely wrote bad reviews or even any reviews at all but i think out of all my La Vacanza Travel experiences, this tuk tuk tour is my first extremely bad experience and people should not be scammed for the 2nd time The driver which I did not get his name, a Filipinos who has stayed in Madrid for 10years, tried to cut down our 2hr booking to 1.5hr and insist on extending our tour by paying extra. After explaining and showing the proof that we bought a 2hr tour, he reluctantly agreed to continue the tour. But only to bring us to a Christopher Colombo statue by a long detour and then said that our time is over again. We did not even get to see the Royal Palace. When we asked to drop us at the Royal Palace for our final stop, he insisted on purchasing an extension of tour again. We refused because we thought a 2hr tour is supposed to cover that. Then we chose not to argue anymore and asked to be dropped at a nearby restaurant which is just 5mnt away. He said it is too far away and our time is up and his excuse now that he has another job waiting. But isn't he selling for an extension of time just a while ago? We gave up, feeling very disappointed and sad. There is no use arguing. He just wants us to get off right there with no good intention at all. My advice is to choose wisely for the tuktuk company, their bad ratings are real.

Great way to get your bearings around the city and map out where you want to spend more time! Driver was very friendly and knowledgeable.

The tour guy is very friendly, but his English is good enough. He didn't understand our question and we didn't have the fun conversation we had with the Tuk driver in Barcelona.

Antonella took us around Madrid during the first week of October, and it was possibly the best driving tour I've had. In a tuk tuk, you have the flexibility of being very mobile and seeing various districts of Madrid, while also being small enough to dart in and out of smaller streets and alleys and seeing sites you would miss if you were in a car or part of a walking tour with dozens of people and were pressed for time. Along with teaching us very notable facts of the different buildings and neighborhoods, she even pulled over to a few historical sites (the Temple of Debod was so interesting, and great for pictures!) and gave us time to walk around and really take everything in. I can't wait to return to Madrid for another trip, and Antonella will be at the top of my list!

We had a FANTASTIC time on this tour, and I highly recommend this company if you are visiting Madrid in the future. Our tour guide was Antonella. We booked this tour at the last minute due to arriving a day late. The morning of our tour, we were ready early so I called, and Antonella agreed to come get us to start the tour early. She drove up to our hotel in busy traffic in this cute little "tuk tuk" that was like a cross between a golf cart and a motorcycle. We quickly jumped in and off on our tour we went. Antonella drove us around the old city and stopped at a few places for us to get out and take pictures. She kept us laughing the entire time, helping us forget our vacation's miserable start. She drove us around the main parts of the new city, but we liked meandering around the old city better. It was so much fun being able to zip down tiny roads that most cars couldn't fit, and get up close to many of the landmarks. Antonella was extremely knowledgeable about the city and its history. She taught us so much about the history of how the city developed and the history of Spain. Overall, our tour with Tuk Tuk Madrid was a fantastic way to quickly see the city and figure out what parts you want to return to visit longer. Unfortunately, this was our only day in the city, but we were at least able to get to see most of the major sites and hear stories about them before we left the following day. When we come back, we will definitely do another tour with Tuk Tuk Madrid!
