Pass By: Casco Historico de Toledo, Toledo Spain

Upon arrival, we make a panoramic tour by bus to enjoy the magnificent view of the city from the other side of the Tagus River, a must stop to take the most popular photo of Toledo. Then, accompanied by an expert local guide, we take a walk through the historic centre of Toledo, to get acquainted with this imposing medieval city, discovering its most emblematic places, a first contact, to later be able to visit its monuments on your own, its magical corners, full of history. After the visit, you will have free time in the city.

OPTIONAL: For those who wish to extend their experience in Toledo, together with the official guide, we will carry out a complete exterior and interior visit of the Cathedral, whose architecture shows all the stages of Spanish Gothic and houses numerous works of art (stained-glass windows, choir, main chapel, altarpieces, paintings by El Greco…).

I've traveled to 36 countries with a multitude of touring companies, and this was my worst experience ever. The first stop at our destination, Toledo, was a gift shop (!) where we spent +1 hour. The tour guide in the city was dour and unpleasant, and abandoned us before taking us to the destinations in Toledo advertised. She also left us with inadequate instructions on how to return to the meeting point for the bus departure back to Madrid. Find another touring company or do your own research and buy a train ticket.

The worst tour we have experienced! The tour guide, a young lady who did not say much in English. When she left us inside of Toledo; just told us to meet the bus at where we got off. We had no idea where it was. Luckily we got back to the area an hour earlier; finally found others were looking for the bus too! DO NOT USE VPT for your tour!!

The busy left promptly at 10. I enjoyed the panoramic views and stop for photos. I didn't think it was necessary to stop at the shop for a minimum of 20 minutes to provide the store sales. In addition, there was not enough free time to enjoy the sights as the bus left at 4:30 pm. Best to do the trip on your own, I think.

This tour is perfect for people who want little guided tours and long free time. Bus was comfortable and punctual. Historical Toledo is good place to visit for a day from Madrid. Sadly we had a bad luck with weather and we couldn’t walk around the town.
