Overview

Sungai Berang is famous for its clear water and abundance of animals inhabited its bank. Among animals can be found along the stream are eagle, kingfisher, monkey (various type of them), buffalo and cow. Kayak along Sungai Berang river is very relaxing as it is classified as Class I river where the water moves with small waves tug at the boat.

What Can You Expect?

Itinerary

Little Amazon is the spots along Sungai Berang where huge trees covered the river stream. The huge trees are home for various animals such as hornbill, monkey, eagle and kingfisher. You can even see buffalo along the river bank which make this trip more or less safari-like. The only way to enjoy this amazing scenery is by using kayak. This is a fully guided kayak trip. Group size are kept very small and personal for comfort and safety.

Sungai Berang is located around 2.5 hours drive from Kuala Besut Jetty where boat from Perhentian Island is parked. We will meet at Kuala Besut Jetty and transfer you to the starting point.
