This is a typical itinerary for this product

Pass By: Grand River South East Waterfalls, Grand River South East, Beau Champ, Mauritius

After boarding the speedboat, you will pass by the Grand River South East waterfall on your way to Ile aux Cerfs. If you’re lucky, you'll be able to see the curious monkeys jumping through the big old trees on the river banks. Watch the Mauritian fruit bats resting perched on the highest trees as you approach the waterfall.

Stop At: Ile aux Cerfs Grande Riviere Sud Est, Mauritius

After seeing the stunning Grand River South East waterfall, you'll head to Ilot Mangenie (next to Ile aux Cerfs) to enjoy a freshly prepared barbecue lunch of chicken, fish, salad and more. You'll also be treated to drinks, including soft drinks, beer, wine and rum, and have the chance to watch sega dancers perform live. After lunch, you'll board the boat for a very short ride to Ile aux Cerfs where you will spend 3 or 4 hours relaxing, swimming, suntanning, hiking or doing one of the many activities offered on the island.

First of all, we would like to point out that the hotel pickup was on time and the taxi driver was a very polite man. The speedboat tour was okay, but nobody told us anything. We did not know how long our stay would be at the boat or if we have to follow any instructions. At the island Ile aux Cerfs we got off the speedboat and we went for a walk. The sea was knee-high but clear, it was not possible to go swimming at the one side of the island. The other side was too windy, the waves were too high.
So we decided to relax at the beach at the sunbeds - but the use of these had to get paid.
A part of the island is private, so you are not allowed to enter this area. The other part is full of attractions like banana boat etc., which got promoted very loud and vehement.
To sum up, if you don't want to do some touristic attractions but you want to have some peace and quiet, this is definitely the wrong island. Although June is not the peak holiday season, there are lots of people.
The lunch (BBQ) was okay too. The drinks were included as well. At the island where we had lunch there was no toilet, electricity or flowing water. Anyway, we were full up - the taste of the meat was not overwhelming.

For us, this trip was disappointing. We do not recommend it.
