This experience was arranged by my family to mark a very special birthday. Bryn was absolutely fantastic, so knowledgeable and made the climb very entertaining. He looked after us and produced some amazing footage to capture this truly great experience. I would highly recommend it but need to have an element of fitness.
What an amazing experience! We booked this trip after reading Trip Advisor reviews and it totally exceeded our expectations. Bryn, our guide, was so knowledgeable about the area and was passionate about conservation and keeping Mauritius a centre of Eco excellence. The area around Le Morne Brabant has been owned by his wife’s family for generations and they are keeping it as a natural habitat for deer, monkeys, mongoose, birds, butterflies, etc. The last section of the ascent involved climbing up rocks and I was a rather nervous 67 year young hiker but Bryn guided us carefully and was always concerned about health and safety. The views from the top were stunning. Bryn took superb photos and video footage which he sent to us later in the day. The whole event from pre-booking, to detailed information and safety advice, weather conditions, communications, right the way through to receiving the photos was totally efficient, prompt and professional. It was well worth the early 05.30am start with Bryn as our guide to access the summit. We would not have considered doing the ascent by ourselves and wondered at some of the ill prepared hikers attempting to go up with the rapidly rising temperature as we were descending. A memorable experience and a trip we will never forget. Thank you, Bryn.
Bryn was an incredible guide with energy and endless knowledge about Le Morne and the flora and fauna. He is a true explorer with so many stories and information. I learnt a lot on this hike, it was such an incredible experience and one I won’t forget. Bryn took great photos along the way so that we could enjoy the views and hike. I definitely recommend his company on this hike!!!
Bryn was an outstanding guide to this hike! He made us fell comfortable about some tricky moves and got us on the way to the top. I can nothing but recommend this hike to friends. Thank you Bryn!
All I can say is …. wow!!!! This trip far exceeded any expectations that I had - utterly incredible. Bryn was so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable - I learned a great deal on this trip and felt in very, very safe hands. The climb was hard enough for me (sweat was lashing off me) but doable and the views made it very much worth it. Bryn took loads of video and photo content so I could leave my phone in my pocket and just enjoy the views. Our time at the top was plentiful - offering loads of time to soak in the view. I would 100% recommend this to anyone.
