Best guide we ever had! Good job, Kevin! Trust me, the mauntain that day wasn't easy, rain day before make road wery slippery, but we did it, thanks to Kevin.
This was an absolutely incredible experience!! The views were breathtaking, exotic birds serenaded us the whole hike, and the fragrances from the forest were 😍. Our guide, Kevin, shared tons of interesting commentary about the history, flora/fauna, and geography of the region. It was a challenging climb, but he guided us expertly through tricky spots and adjusted the pace as needed to make sure everyone was supported. I have hiked mountains across four continents now... and getting to the top of Le Morne is a totally unique, transcendant experience. 10/10 would recommend - if you do one excursion in Mauritius, this should be it!!!
Our hike this morning with Kevin was absolutely awesome. The early start is completely worth it as we were alone on the mountain for the entire ascent. Kevin is a fabulous guide. I was really quite nervous about how I would manage on the more challenging parts of the hike but I was able to achieve more than I could have imagined today. The instructions were clear and calming, and the whole atmosphere was inspiring and encouraging. Thank you so so much Kevin! I stepped outside my comfort zone today and I couldn’t recommend you as a guide highly enough.
Such a special trip - would highly recommend. Kevin is a brilliant guide and very knowledgeable about the environment and Mauritius in general. He was also patient and helpful with all climbers and motivated us to the top. An experience I will never forget.
That was an absolute fantastic morning hike - at Sunrise. I really recommend this hike with Kevin. He is one of the best guides I ever had. He also told us a lot of history and nature. It was big fun to do the hike with him and absolutely safe all the time.
