Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Tamarin Bay, Mauritius

Our first stop: Tamarin Bay. Keep an eye out for pods of spinner or bottlenose dolphins that stay in our western coastline waters. If you are lucky, they might be in sight, just for you to admire these beloved mammals’ acrobatics that could be the highlight of your tropical holiday.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Black River, Black River

The boat then heads to Black River, all sails hoisted. In the lagoon, a patch reef about two meters deep, harbors colorful fishes and small crustaceans. Get into your snorkeling gear and chase after butterfly fish or tease passing trumpet fish while admiring the coral outcrops spread on the white sand. Taste the saltiness of the water as you swim under the vigilant and trained eye of the crew, ready to intervene should anyone need any help.

Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Crystal Rock, Opposite Ile Aux Benitiers, Inside the Lagoon, Le Morne, Mauritius

The boat is then steered towards the infamous Bénitiers Rock, which stands over the turquoise lagoon. As the boat anchors as close as possible, depending on the tide, be sure to snap a picture next to this mysterious outcrop that features endlessly on Mauritian postcards. The aqua water laps gently on the boat and the world is all blue and green as far as the eye can see, except for the Bénitiers Island, laden with coconut trees.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Ile aux Benitiers, Ile aux Benitiers

Hop onto a fisherman’s boat, which will ferry you to the island’s sandy beaches, where you can laze around in the sun or start an exploration on foot. A few hawkers scattered around the beach, sell straw hats, jewellery made out of seashells, sarongs and other souvenirs. While the island may attract a crowd during peak season, you can hope to find an almost desert beach on a quiet day.

Good organisation, they have two boats depending on the number of people booking the trip. We were a bit early at the harbor and had to wait, but everything was smooth and got clear instructions once on the catamaran. We saw multiple dolphins and they were so close to the boat so we could see them from up close. We sailed to the island, while served nice cold drinks and a local snack. We were served lunch at noon with grilled chicken, fish, multiple salads and garlic bread. As a desert we had pineapple. We got on a smaller boat to the island itself, as it was low tide. The island itself was nothing special, a lot of souvenir stands with pretty much the same stuff. One hour later we were picked up and brought back to the catamaran. We had some time to snorkel and chill before setting back to the harbour. Due to the wind we could sail back, which was so calming and relaxing. Drinks were served plenty, I definitely recommend the jungle juice! It was one of the best days on our holiday here, we enjoyed this so much! Thank you crew for the amazing day.

Fantastic trip, dolphin watching, snorkeling & trip to Benitier Island along with onboard barbecue. The crew were friendly, helpful & so much fun. If you get the chance to go on a trip book with these guys... Best trip we did on the island

Felt very safe on the catamaran with an experience crew. The dolphin sighting was rather disappointing as about 20 boats surrounding 3 or 4 dolphins. Good job this did not involve swimming with them as I would have felt sorry for the dolphins. Day improved with snorkelling over some lovely corals just outside the reef. There were not enough snorkels provided so I would advise people to bring their own. The crew cooked an excellent bbq on the boat with chicken fish and salad. The trip to the island involved shopping and fortunately we had some money as there were some good souveniers.

Wonderful first katamaran experience! The katamaran was huge, we were few, very nice people aboard and the crew went out of their way to make us comfortable: First we went to a Dolphin sighting spot, where we saw several groups of dolphins crossing our path; then we were taken to a very nice reef for snorkeling - we saw lots of colorful fish and corals. During our snorkeling excursion the crew had prepared a wonderful meal, BBQ chicken and marlin, vegetables and grilled garlic bread. Those, who had gone snorkeling were allowed to have their first alcoholic drink, including a very lovely coctail called "Jungle Juice". During lunch, we were going to the Crystal Rock, where we had a nice swim. After that, they took us to Ile aux Bénitiers, where we would have had the chance to aquire merchandise or (sea) fruit had we had taken money with us - which we unfortunately didn't. After 40 minutes we were rescued from the island, had the chance to swim around some more around Crystal Rock, and went back. It was a delightful experience and we're sure we'll make another katamaran tour next time, a big thank you from Gisela, Stefan, Josef and Florian
