This tour may well be the best run and most enjoyable excursion we have ever been a part of. Our tour to the Great Ocean Road and the Grampians National Park began on Feb 15th. On Feb 14th, very sadly, the Grampians region was hit by a wind storm and powerful thunderstorms which tore up trees and ignited forest fires with many homes lost as the region dealt with one of it's biggest emergencies in years. In the hours leading up to the beginning of the tour we received an email advising us that the situation regarding our itinerary was very fluid and that visiting the Grampians would likely not be possible. Our incredible guide, Janet "J-Dog" Archibald, in consultation with Wildlife Tours took this bag of lemons that fate had handed us and made the best lemonade ever. She recast this setback as an opportunity to explore some locations that we would not normally have time to see. Janet knows the state of Victoria like the back of her hand and we were all swept up by her enthusiasm as she told story after story and got us to amazing locations with time to explore at length. By the end of the first day our group had become the best of friends and this tour was the highlight of our time in Australia. I highly recommend this tour and our guide Janet. On day three we were joined by Chris who also knows his stuff and made our trip memorable.

Had an awful experience with them and their customer service is terrible also. Go with any other company other than this one.

For the amount you pay for a family and after that being split up at night to accommodate solo travellers, separate couples!!! .. not worth it. Rent a car and do it on your own. It will cost you a fraction of this, you will see more things and eat better ( you have to pay most of your meals anyways) and you won’t have to be charged extra for nothing! Btw, hurry up at breakfast.. they might run out of bread!! And if you encounter a problem, La Vacanza Travel won’t be there to help you!

Just got back from the 3 day tour of the Great ocean road and the grampians. I would definitely not recommend doing any less than this as the 2 day tour missed out on a great hike in the grampians. Our tour guide Peter was great with loads of knowledge and a very chilled vibe so that it didn’t feel like we were on a school trip. Some bits of the tour are a bit rushed but that’s to be expected on such a quick turn around. I would definitely recommend this tour !!
