Troy guided us on an amazing walking food experience in Melbourne - it totally exceeded our expectation We tasted awesome food from restaurants of many different cultures which Melbourne is famous for Troy shared his knowledge both of the food and the areas we visited so we had an outstanding day out We fully recommend this tour to others with some advice to do it early in your visit to Melbourne - Troy told us of many other places that we would have loved to visit but it was our last day in Melbourne!! This food tour was fantastically fun and informative. Our guide David was simply superb. He had some interesting facts about the city and knew all of the best food spots. The list of recommendations he provided post tour were second to none! The tour itself is very well designed. You sample indigenous cuisine, classic Melbourne coffee, chocolate and cheese, finishing with some lovely wine. Chatting to David was effortless and he made the tour that much better. This will be the new gold standard moving forward! (As a foodie my standards are high!) If you have the time, definitely book onto this tour :)!

We booked a secret food tour with Troy who showed us around Melbourne’s food hotspots and some hidden gems. We sampled a wide range of food options and were so impressed that we revisited a few of the restaurants. Troy was also great at making suggestions for lunches and dinners/drinks in Melbourne and we loved Afloat, which was a Mexican restaurant on the river. We definitely experienced places that we would not have known about had we not booked the tour so I would highly recommend it.

Imagine turning up in a cool city, meeting up with a friend who knows all the great spots to eat and hanging out with them and some other friends while you eat, chat and enjoy Melbourne. That's what the food tour was like. Our guide David was fun, enthusiastic and made an excellent host. Other attendees were open and welcoming. I went on my own and truly felt like I was out with people who I had known for ages. We all loved food and enjoyed the experience very much. I thought also that given the length of the tour, the places that we went and the amount of food we got to try that the tour was excellent value for money. Even if you know Melbourne, this is a must do. I would highly recommend this. Thank you David for such a magic experience!

Troy Hughes was fabulous. He had excellent knowledge of the local area but also filled his your with passion for the delicacies and culture experienced in Melbourne. I won't divulge too many details to avoid spoiling the tour for others but you won't be disappointed with the variety. His energy and enthusiasm was high throughout the tour and was incredibly accommodating for the groups needs, including an added bonus of sharing other places of interest to visit post tour. A true ambassador for Melbourne :)
