The problem with this trip was you only saw the town of comp for about 45 minutes and then had to board the boat for two hours which is way too long especially in the winter months! From the description I thought we would have way more time to explore which just wasn’t the case. Bellagio was a great village but you had more time there and I took no time to see the whole village! Overall it just was too much time in the bus and cost and not enough time to actually explore!

The scenic boat trip from Como to Bellagio was undoubtedly the highlight of the day, culminating in a fantastic lunch in Bellagio. But we did enjoy our brief stop in Como, with its magnificent cathedral, as well as shopping in Bellagio, where there were some quite exclusive shops with leather and silk goods. Very tempting! On the drive back to Milan, we took the scenic route, including spectacular views of Lake Como from the heights above. All in all, a wonderful day out.
