Overview

Arrive at iFLY Milton Keynes and safely float in an 800-horsepower vertical wind tunnel that generates a wall-to-wall cushion of air commonly used by professional skydivers without having to jump from a plane. Just about anyone can fly and no experience is necessary.

Once inside the flight chamber, a tunnel operator slowly increases the wind speed until you and your instructor are airborne. Feel the adrenaline rush as you float at wind speeds reaching 130 to 175 mph (209 to 282 kph). The stable wall-to-wall airflow keeps you from falling off the column of air and your instructor is on hand at all times to guide you.

The entire indoor skydiving experience takes about 90 minutes from start to finish. Each session includes up to 13 people, but you fly one-on-one with your instructor twice - the same freefall time as three tandem skydives!

To ensure our team are able to fly you, it's vital you arrive at the venue no less than 45minutes before your booked flight time.

What Can You Expect?

Feel the thrill of skydiving without jumping out of an airplane. It's true! Head to iFLY Milton Keynes, a premier indoor skydiving facility powered by a state-of-the-art vertical wind tunnel, where you'll experience free-fall conditions with the help of an instructor.

You may fly if you:
- Weigh less than 18 stone and 7 pounds / 117kg (contact iFLY directly if you weigh more than this)
- Are not pregnant
- Have not previously dislocated your shoulder
- Are not under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs
- Are not wearing a hard cast.

It is vital that you arrive for check-in at least 45mins prior to your booked flight time.
So, if you're booked flight time is 3pm, you should arrive no later than 2.15pm. This is so that we can get you geared up, ready for your flight time.
iFLY operates a manifest in the same way you would expect an airline to work; it is therefore advised you arrive early, leaving plenty of time for any unexpected delays.

    Rushed experience. You only get 60seconds and the instructors start the clock before you are even in the flight simulator, trimming off vital seconds that don’t come cheap.

    Now a monthly visit! That says everything 😁. My boy has joined the Flight Club so earns a freebie 'bring a friend voucher' every 3 months as well as special events for the same price as regular flights. The staff are all great, lots of them. Great to see everyone leaving with massive smiles. If you going expecting a fair ground ride, think again. This is very expensive in terms of cost per minute, approximately £40 for 4 mins! This is either a one-off experience to witness the feel of skydiving in a safe environment and get those all important memories or go on to regular training and master moving around on the airflow. Those massive turbines needed to move the air use a lot of electric, hence the price plus the cost of the trainers who'll look after you during your flight and give you a lifelong memory, what it feels to go skydiving.

    Fabulous experience. Can't wait to do it again. Even though I was nervous at first, the experienced instructor was phenomenal and made it so easy. No falling sensation at all.

    I booked this experience for my dads 60th birthday as we have both wanted to do the real thing but thought this would be a good experience to try first, it was great fun, the staff were friendly and made you feel relaxed, the high fly was an amazing experience, the only thing I would criticise is it is very expensive for such a short period of time that you get, it’s enjoyable but as soon as you get into it it’s finished, so longer times or more flights would be better for the price you pay and I don’t think you should have to pay a massive amount for extras, should be one solid price to have the whole experience in one go, however I would do it again if given the opportunity. Might just need to save up for a while to do so!

    Hard to review as if you was just taking your children I presume it would be an experience, unfortunately as I have never been anywhere like this I paid for my daughters boyfriend as a Christmas present to enjoy this experience, unfortunately what I paid when I booked it and yes it was a third party was far more than prices on the day behind the counter, for what I paid I could have got the VR experience which was already disappointing as soon as I walked in, To top it off my daughters boyfriend who is 19 wanted the experience of flying maybe 10 meters higher than your standard flight which they promote on the day and for this pleasure it is 10 pound per flight on top of what you have already been charged, you get 2 flights at 1 minute each so don't believe you need to charge more working out on average 70 pounds for 2 minutes is extortionate.
