Look at the Tretyakov Revenue House with its Neo-Russian style façade, a former property of the Tretyakov family, owners of the world-famous Tretyakov Gallery.

Look at the TSUM, a 7-story department store built in 1908 and one of the most famous places Moscow. Originally, it was a fashion boutique with such innovations of the time as pneumatic mail and electric lifts, and customers even had option to order goods by mail. Today you can find more than 1000 top brands of apparel, perfumery and jewelry, as well as restaurants, bars and cigar room.

Pass by the magnificent Khomyakov Revenue House, built in Vienna Modern style, an extremely rare style for Moscow. Then move to the Annenkov House, built in 1776.
It is a very significant place, as many cultural and artistic figures visited hotels, restaurants and bars here. Decembrist Ivan Annenkov was born and raised here and his wife Pauline Gueblу had once compared the house to a fairytale world with numerous fascinating rooms.

Stop at the Ketch Up Moscow restaurant, and be awed by the beauty of the building, formerly known as the Basil Hairdressing Salon. Explore the asymmetric Sokol House, with various different details, stucco and metal decorations. There is majolica panel with a falcon on the façade, and this house is named after its first owner, Maria Sokol, whose last name means falcon in Russian.

Head to Kamergerskiy Lane and explore the eventful history and splendid architecture of this street It is one of the most famous Moscow streets despite being just 250 m long. In the past women’s monastery was located here that then was replaced by revenue houses, hotels and restaurants.
Many world-famous writers and poets visited this place or lived here, for example Nekrasov, Tolstoy, Mayakovsky or Esenin. Now it is a pedestrian street with a truly special atmosphere fueled by the labyrinth streets, cozy bars and cafes.

Observe the Moscow Art Theatre, and immerse into the colorful history and culture of Russia. The outlook of this building is designed by the collaboration of the master architect Fyodor Schechtel and theater artistic directors.
Schechtel also designed the elegant Moscow Art Theatre School building, located nearby, that was originally planned as a “Scientific electro theater”, but later was occupied by shops and offices.
