Reach Agra and we visit - Taj Mahal (A Unesco World Heritage Site), No trip to Agra would be complete without a visit to this shimmering vision of domes and minarets. The world's best-known tomb stands testimony to the timeless love story of the 17th century Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan and his wife - Queen Mumtaz Mahal. (Taj Mahal remain closed on every Friday).

Stop At: Agra Fort Rakabgani, Agra 282003 India

After Lunch we visit Agra Fort (A Unesco World Heritage Site), Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D, this huge fort is made of red sandstone. The elegant buildings inside reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. The maze of the courtyards, mosques & private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.

Stop At: Sanskriti's Imperial Gems, A 11, Taj nagri, phase 2, Agra India

If Time permit we enjoy shopping in Agra is known for its fabulous handicrafts, made of marble and softstone inlay work. The Mughals were great patrons of arts and crafts. Empress Nur Jahan took personal interest and was an accomplished artist herself in zari embroidery work. Agra's major handicraft products besides inlay work are: leatherware, brassware, carpets, jewellery and embroidery work.

Raj was a wonderful guide. He made sure we knew all the history and culture of Agra. The Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort are both amazing! Our driver was Sonu. He was fast and safe. Always ready with the cold water bottles to keep us hydrated in the 90° heat. Over all I would highly recommend this trip and specifically theses guides.

My husband and I had oniy 1 day and this day trip was absolutely amazing and a MUST do for the short trip experience! Super well organized from the flights to drivers and out guide, Raj, was incredible! We were able to see the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort, with time and no rush! Highly recommend!

If I could give this tour 1000000 stars I would! Loved it! Super well organized and worry free! Our guide Raj was amazing, so very knowledgeable, kind, patient and was able to give us all the information and show us the main points we needed to see, since we oniy had 1 day! The Agra Fort was also Amazing! Lunch delish! Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, our excursion to the Taj Mahal was ruined thanks to La Vacanza Travel's disorganization within their company. Let me explain. Excited to see that La Vacanza Travel had a one-day excursion to the Taj Mahal as it would have worked perfectly within our schedule. We scheduled our tour and a few days later we found out our flight changed and had to change the day of our tour which was not a problem. I received the new confirmation, and we were all set, at least we thought we were all set. The problem came in when La Vacanza Travel DID NOT communicate the date change to the local tour operator. So, waiting in the Hotel lobby at 3:30 am for a 4:00 am pickup on the revised scheduled date. The clock is ticking and at 4:30 am I called local tour operator only to find out he had us scheduled for the next day which was our original date. He blamed La Vacanza Travel for not giving him the changed date and took no responsibility for the screw up. Being in India the "Tage" is a must see so we discussed with the local operator how we could make this happen. The next day we were in the Hotel lobby in Mumbai at 1:30 pm and we were picked up for our 4:15 am flight to Delhi. We met our driver and drove almost four hours to Agar arriving at 11:30 am. to finally see the Tag Mahal. One- and one-half hours later we were back in the car for another four-hour drive back to the airport for our flight to returning to Mumbai and our hotel. Arriving back at our hotel its now 11:00 pm at night. Only time for a quick shower and back in the lobby at 1:30 am for our 4:00 am flight home. The bottom line here is we missed out on our time at the Tag Mahal not to say the inconveniences we incurred, the stress of four flights within 48 hours including 24 hours on the plane to get home. When I reported this to La Vacanza Travel the sad fact is they absolutely didn't care and did nothing to apse us because of THEIR MISTAKE.

Visiting the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort was a memorable experience of a lifetime.The grand Taj Mahal mausoleum is captivating and the architectural beauty is less in time.Sunil, my tour guide,gave me a ride to Agra by myself,and I enjoyed the ride for 4 hours each way and the sceneries.
