It is an imitation of the Taj at Agra and due to its similar design it is popularly known as the Mini Taj of the Deccan. The thirty rock-hewn caves at Ajanta, cut into the scarp of a cliff are either Chaityas (chapels) or Viharas (monasteries). We were overwhelmed with how to plan a visit to the caves and booked with this company to handle the details prior to our previously-planned Golden Triangle tour (with another vendor) From the time we exited the Mumbai airport until we boarded the flight they arranged for us to Delhi-every detail was flawless and the drivers and guides were awesome. Top-notch hotels as well, all with a total cost which is well-below what I would've expected. India can be an overwhelming country with major culture shock-the road from Aurangabad to Ajanta Caves is in horrible condition-the fact that all of our worries were replaced by competent professionals made our experiences just outstanding. Highly recommend!

The Private 3-Day Aurangabad Tour Including the Ajanta & Ellora Caves from Mumbai with Delhi Airport Service Private Limited was a truly wonderful experience and an excellent choice to visit these places! The tour was super well organized, everything went smooth and all the representatives of the agency were extremely nice and kind! I got picked up on time at my hotel, got a transfer to and from the Mumbai and Aurangabad airports without any issues. The first full day was a visit to Ajanta Caves with my tour guide Deepak. It was an awesome experience and a great opportunity to learn about the ancient Buddhist caves. With his background in history, art, architecture and tourism, Deepak is extremely knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting information about Buddhism, the story of the caves, the carvings and the paintings! The second full day we visited the Ellora caves and back in Aurangabad we went to visit Bibi Ka Maqbara (the so called Mini Taj of the Deccan) and Daulatabad Fort. We stopped on the way to have some tea and had very good food for lunch and snacks! I had a great time on this tour and would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all the people from Delhi Airport Service Private Limited for making this happen! Special thank you to my tour guide Deepak for the amazing time spent together and all the precious knowledge about the history of these places he shared with me! Definitely recommend this awesome tour!

My first tour and was very impressed. They met us at hotel, helped with getting on the flight with someone to meet us at Aurangabad - very smooth and good communication. Our guide was very knowledgeable and genuinely interested in sharing history and information which added tremendously to our experience of the visiting the Ajanta and Ellora Caves and Agra.
