Our guide (unfortunately I cannot remember his name - gentleman from England now living in Germany) was AWESOME. Great sense of humor despite the grim nature of our tour, very easy to talk to and ask questions of. So glad we had a guide for the experience - he offered a ton of information as we walked through, allowing us to soak it all in instead of spending time reading every post/document. Highly recommend.

Keith, our guide, did a wonderful job sharing his knowledge and history of Dachau. It was stunning to see first hand what we have read and studied over the years. We have been to Holocaust Memorials (Washington D.C. and Skokie, Illinois). Being at Dachau brings it to life, including the barbaric cruelty, pain, suffering and death of the prisoners. It is worth the visit and highly recommend it. Thanks Keith.

Our tour guide Mark did an excellent job of presenting the history and facts about the camp. His systematic approach to leading the group was what you hope for in a tour. Take the tour on the weekend if possible, the amount of tours going through the camp during the week does not allow for much free time to explore the camp on your own.
