Get a deeper understanding of the darkest part of Germany's history during this half-day tour of Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site. With a guide, travel from Munich to the camp by train. Pay your respects at the memorial site, and watch a moving documentary about the camp. Children under the age of 14 are not allowed on the tour.

To begin this half-day tour, meet your guide at 10:15am at the Tourist Information kiosk in central Munich's Marienplatz. (There's also an afternoon departure offered during summer months, which you may select when booking.) Travel with your guide to Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site by train (it takes about an hour), and take a guided tour of all areas of the camp once you arrive.

Visiting Dachau was quite a big day it was certainly worthwhile visiting and the tour guide was really informative about the history and sensitive to the victims who lost their lives there. My only recommendation is making a time for a break during the tour to eat as the tour went over lunch time finished at around 3pm and not really any time to eat before having to catch the bus

Alex was wonderfully knowledgeable, interesting, and personable! He provided enough time and was considerate to the groups needs throughout! Transportation to and from is included, so no complicated steps of getting lost. Highly recommend booking a tour if you are able, worthwhile!

Definitely a must tour if visiting this area. Whether or not you are familiar with this WWII history you will learn, be moved and be impacted by this site. The guide was informative but really no humor or sarcasm is necessary or appreciated here. Would have liked a bit more time to read the signage/displays rather than listen to guide as the information contained was excellent.

The half day Dachau Concentration Camp tour was excellent and Monica was an excellent tour guide and I learned quite a bit on the horror that went on in this place. She was very knowledgeable and patient with such a large group and I got a lot out of the tour.
