Munich City Hop-on Hop-off Tour

The driver was rude and condescending. He couldn’t bother to answer any of my questions about the tour and acted frustrated. It was so disappointing to feel like I was doing something wrong by simply being a tourist. He shouldn’t be a tour bus driver if he didn’t like tourists.

We booked the 2 hour tour as it was our first time in Munich..I have been on numerous city tours and on all previous trips trhe bus stopped at each of the locations on the tour but on this trip the bus only stopped at the Olympic Park..We wanted to get off the bus at the English Gardens but the bus did not stop there but simply continued to the end of the tour.We were disapponted but decided later in the day to take another trip to visit the Gardens.This time we confirmed at the kiosk as to the last bus time and were advised that it was 1600 and the bus would be at the English Gardens at 1615 - 1620.The bus was not going to stop once again and there did not appear to be a bell to let the driver know but we went down and managed to get off at the stop.We confirmed with the driver the time of the last bus and the driver confirmed the same time.We visited the Gardens and made a point of returning to the stop by 1615..However no bus arrived .We waited 20 minutes but still no bus.As tourists we did not know the city but ended up having to make our way on foot back to the city centre which took about 25 minutes.Extremely disappointing and I would certainly not recommend using this company's tour bus in future.The following day we complained at the kiosk and were offered anothe trip but it was our last day and declined.

The hop on and hop off tour was a wonderful way to see Munich! We really enjoyed Olympic Park and the learning about the history of Munich!

The very best way to see the sights!! This was my third country using Hop-on, Hop-off, never disappointed! Just go to my app, type in my city, select my option, pay, and done. Nothing could be easier. I actually selected a three day pass in Barcelona, it was perfect!! I rode around the whole loop the first time, then jumped off at the locations of interest. So so easy!! I've been on several La Vacanza Travel tours, I refer them to everyone.
