This was a great day trip. The castles are very different with amazing history. Not much commentary on the bus but you break off into actual timed tours of the castles which are great.

A highly recommended visit. Friendly guide. Good information was given on the trip and in the castles. Some steep climbs to take into consideration

This was a great day mostly because our guide, Paul, was a dream. It was too foggy to actually see the Neuschwanstein Castle until you were right up against it, and too foggy to see the castle from the bridge. However, the thick fog made wandering through the area fun and creepy and we got some great photos. The Linderhof Palace was the real highlight of the day. There wasnt much time to get lunch, and one person on our tour was late getting back from the Linderhof Palace so our time was cut even more short. That person then complained the entire trip (she was sitting behind us) and made the experience on the bus quite annoying. Dont take this tour if you dont listen to rules and get offended easily. Its a long day and you have limited time in all areas. However, for my purposes, it was perfect.

Royal castle of Linderhof

fantastic. The interior is as beautiful as exterior. Highly recommended.

View from the window of Neuschwanstein

This is the only look of this lake you see on the tour, because the guide puts heavy pressure for you not to take the bus to the Marien Bridge. It is from the bridge that you see most of the pictures of this castle and the lake.

A gorgeous fountain from the palace of Linderhof

Me and Neuschwanstein
