Susanne was a fantastic guide! She was flexible and let us determine what we wanted to prioritize. Learning the history of Nuremberg, visiting the old part of the city was great. It’s beautiful! We also went to where the Nuremberg trials were held for the Nazis after WWII and learned quite a lot about them which was fascinating. The Nazi rally grounds aren’t much to see any more. We were there in 2009 and it’s totally different now as the are using the space for sports fields and outdoor events. Not worth the trip out there. We had a wonderful lunch in Nuremberg by picking a beer garden we were walking by. Susanne was extremely helpful getting us into the restaurant, as well as getting us on the trains on time and directing us on the subways as well. She met us at our hotel in Munich. Our group was 9 family members traveling together - 2 couples and 5 “kids” aged 22-27.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day in Nuremburg with Paul. He was flexible when we requested an earlier start time, which we appreciated. The tour was the perfect combination of history with the perspective of a local. Paul is very well educated, well versed in history and speaks perfect English. He treated us as friends, taking us to his favorite restaurant for lunch. He shared stories about his family's history and took us to his church., where his grandfather was the organist. He is a very personable, witty and genuine young man. We recommend him highly!

Paul and his father Curt were amazing. They shared a wealth of knowledge about so much history. Paul had so much to share and his experience being so young was astonishing. The pictures and examples of before and after war events was a great example of their dedication to ensuring the people they tour have an amazing experience. I highly recommend both of them.
