The tour was fantastic, one of the best we have been on. A relaxing 2 hour train journey and taking in the amazing sights of Salzburg, a beautiful city. Our tour guide Martina was possibly the best tour guide we have had and we have had several great guides over the years. She was kind, warm-hearted and gave a sense that she genuinely cared about her role and clearly enjoyed it. The guidance was just right, not overbearing and gave you the right amount of detail, always available to discuss any questions, she was very attentive. We can't say enough about how great she made the trip, one of the highlights of our entire holiday. 10/10

Maxine was fantastic and had a deep knowledge of history of the city. Her style brought the excursion to life. We liked that there was time to also explore the town on our own.

Maxine was a great tour guide and led us from Munich to Salzburg very easily and comfortably via train and bus. She gave us some background on Salzburg and what we were going to see on the train, which made the ride go by quickly. We learned about Sound of Music spots, Mozart, cafe culture, and favorite sweet spots on the walking tour portion, which was a great way to get your bearings for your 3 hours of free time. We used 1 of our hours to dine at the oldest restaurant in the world, which Maxine actually reserved space for us at in advance, which was so nice. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was delicious. We spent most of our other 2 hours meandering the Christmas Markets (this was toward the end of our trip and we were kind of museum'd out by then), but enjoyed the town. Would recommend as an easy way to see Salzburg if you're not going overnight.

One day tour by train and foot, made na excelente day by our Tour Guide Suzanne, that gave the group a good explanation of what we would see and visit, and also a lot of information and historical data about all the sites we visited and passed through.
The Tour also allows you a 3 hour "free" time wich can be used to have some local lunch and visit some of the very nice sites and wonderfull views over the city.
I Recommend this Tour and the guide Suzanne.

It was a beautiful spring day when we visited Salzburg - all of the locals were out sunbathing along the river and enjoying the first warm day after a cold winter! I LOVED Salzburg
