We learned so many exciting things about tea, the plant, the harvest, the different types of tea and their production and effects. our guide King Raja also showed us many herbs and medicinal plants - it was an exciting experience, a beautiful landscape and he also brought a delicious breakfast that we were able to enjoy at a wonderful viewing point. A great guide who gave us a great experience.

King Raja was our guide, he is from the local village next to the Letchmi Estate. Raja was very informative about many local plants, trees and ajurvedic medicines, as well as of course the tea making process. He packed homemade snacks made by his wife which were delicious. The walk was beautiful and the view points amazing. We would highly recommend.
One of my favorite experiences in Munnar was doing the tea plantation walking tour. Mari was my guide, and he did a fabulous job talking about all aspects of a tea plantation, answering any questions, and also showing me other flora and fauna. We were able to walk among all the tea trees where the only other people we encountered were the workers gathering the tea leaves. The pace was perfect where I never felt rushed nor that the tour was dragging on. I will do this tour again if I'm ever back in the region.
Amazing 2 hour walking tour in the hills of Munnar, right through the tea plantations. The views are astonishing and there are photo opportunities at every corner. Our guide, Mr. Rajamani, has a lot of knowledge about the local flora and fauna and gave us a lot of insight on tea harvesting and processing. He was also very friendly and assisted with taking pictures and videos. He was also very flexible about the schedule and adapted the tour to our needs. Highly recommend this tour.
