This was an excellent short tour in a tea plantation close to Munnar. Our guide Mari was very friendly and knew everything there is to know about tea production and the local plants. The sun setting over the tea fields was beautiful. He picked us up, and dropped us off from our accomodation for a small extra charge.

I have no doubts in saying this evening walk through tea plantation was the highlight of my Munnar trip. I love exploring things by foot and this was a unique experience. The tea gardens of Munnar are private property and thanks to the provider , we got the experience it first hand. The small group size made the experience personalised. Although on the day of our walk, the sky was overcast, so unfortunately no sunset, but doesn’t take any a single bit of joy from this experience.
