Here is my honest review of motorbikeexpeditions.com (The good): I had an incredible experience with motorbikeexpiditions.com on their 11 days motorcycle tour to Ladakh. From start to finish, it was a thrilling adventure. The tour guides (Akshay and Rahul) were knowledgeable and ensured our safety at all times. The routes they chose were breathtaking, taking us through scenic landscapes and hidden gems that I wouldn't have discovered on my own. The bikes were well-maintained, and the accommodations along the way were comfortable. I can't recommend motorbikeexpeditions.com enough for any motorcycle enthusiast looking for an unforgettable journey!! (The bad): Not too much to say here. But I would definitely like to highlight the following 3 points. 1. I was told on the 3rd day of the trip that I was using clutch a lot and my use of clutch has reduced the life of the clutch to 30%. Honestly, I was in awe with the knowledge Mr Akshay has in automobile engineering. Just by looking at the clutch lever, he knew how much life is left :). Amazing!! I kind of sensed his intention. He simply wanted some share of the deposit money (each one of us had to deposit Rs 10,000). He was just setting the stage by letting me know that my overuse of clutch will cost me a part of the deposit money. Rs 10,000 is like $120. Not a big deal. I understand, you are doing a business here and you would like to maximize your revenue. But please do not resort to these awful and unfair means to extract additional money from your clients. If this was not your intention and it was just a sheer lack of knowledge about the internals of clutch, please review the following YouTube link. (Search for "complete guide to motorcycle clutch on YouTube. Please remember knowledge is power and half knowledge is very dangerous) 2. We initially paid, 30% of the total payment by bank transfer to confirm the booking. The remaining balance was due before the start of the trip. But after we arrived in Bhuntar, we were told that we have to pay the remaining balance in cash. Mr Akshay was very honest and upfront about the reason for the cash transaction I.E to evade paying taxes on the remaining balance. Hence cash transaction. Akshay, my question to you would be, can I go back and tell my employer to pay me in cash so that I can pay less taxes? I can’t, and it is unlawful and unfair to do that. So, my question to you would be, being a responsible citizen if we all are paying taxes on our net income, why won’t you? I hope you understand your action does give a very wrong image of India about evading taxes by doing cash transaction. I am aware that Indian government is trying hard to maximize cashless transactions. 3. Last but not the least, we were told by your tour company that you carry oxygen cylinder for emergency purposes. This is a high altitude expedition so oxygen cylinder is a must. But during our trip your luggage van didn’t have any oxygen cylinder at all. This is not only a violation of your contract, but this could potentially prove fatal to someone’s life. To increase profit margin please do not cut corners on these areas. Please DO NOT play with people’s life. Again, please do not resort to these unlawful means to increase your profit margin. Remember, in reality a negative feedback is often even more useful (and insightful) than positive feedback. Please take this as a constructive feedback. This should help you analyze your existing processes, fix the lapses for better customer service to take your business to the next level. I thank you again for the wonderful experience those 10 days!! Wish you all the very best in your future endeavors!!

Rahul is one of the brothers running these tours as a family business and I could not compliment these guys any more. Everything and I mean everything was organized better than expected. We had no additional cost other than a couple of hundred rupees for lunch and may be a fancy drink outside of meal time. We felt treated like family and seeing the culture of local people and the conversations with our guide were lovely. Briefings accommodations food and communication were all excellent. These guys work really hard to make you as comfortable as possible and organize every detail including fuel. Rahuls skills and leadership as a guide were outstanding (he even told us when it's time to put your warm gloves on). These guys (and the lady) are real professionals that I'm happy to recommend to my friends. Andy Bucher, German living England
