Day 1: ARRIVAL DELHI

Pass By: New Delhi, New Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi
Meeting and assistance at the airport. Our representative will meet to welcome and escort you by a private chauffeur driven transport to the Hotel. Whilst the room keys and check-in is organized, our representative will also hand over the “Welcome Folder” documents and brief you the tour program.

Day 2: IN DELHI

Stop At: New Delhi, New Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi
The capital of India, Delhi is a major gateway city for international visitors. It’s a fascinating metropolis offering an intriguing mix of ancient sites and modern wonders, and also serves as the headquarters of Indian politics. Many of the heads of the Indian government, as well as other political parties, reside in the city, including the Prime Minister and President of India.
After breakfast, enjoy a city tour of old and new Delhi. The tour will take in Raj Ghat (where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated); Red Fort (made famous by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan); and Jama Masjid (the largest mosque in India) which has three great gateways, four angle towers and two minarets constructed of alternating vertical strips of red sandstone and white marble.
Also enjoy a rickshaw tour through Chandni Chowk, a colorful shopping bazaar in Old Delhi.
Travel to Laxminarayan Temple, a site dedicated to Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity and good fortune. You’ll also witness the India Gate, a 42m high war memorial and stone of triumph. The tour continues with a visit to Rashtrapati Bhawan, the palace-like building home to the President of India. Also visit the beautiful Lotus Temple, also known as the Bahai Temple, where adherents of any faith can visit, pray or meditate at this dazzling architectural temple.

Day 3: DELHI - MANDAWA

Stop At: Mandawa, Mandawa, Jhunjhunu District, Rajasthan
After breakfast depart by surface to Mandawa, On arrival check-in at Hotel.
Mandawa is a small town in the heart of the Shekhawati region. The place is known not only for its Havelis but also for its Fort Palace. The structure of the palace reminds of the cultural and social importance of this region in the past. Of the Havelis, the most important are the Chokhani, Ladia, Binsidhar Newatia, and Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli. Another haveli, the Binsidhar Newatia Haveli, is known for its curious paintings. There is a painting of a boy holding a telephone and a European woman in a transport driven by a chauffeur. The Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli is famous for its erotic images, now mostly defaced.

Day 4: MANDAWA - BIKANER

Stop At: Bikaner, Bikaner, Bikaner District, Rajasthan

Bikaner, founded in 1488 by a descendant of the founder of Jodhpur named Rao Bhikaji. The city of Bikaner has seen several ups and downs in its eventful history. Bikaner is also called the camel country, is renowned for the best riding camels in the world. It is also the birthplace of the world-famous Bikaneri bhujia and namkeen (a salted snack made of lentils). Being a desert-scape, the summers are very hot in Bikaner. The best time to visit this place is in winter when the weather remains cool and tolerable.
Afternoon city tour visiting, the majestic forts, Mata Karni Temple where rats are considered sacred and worshipped. Some of the major attractions around the city are Junagarh Fort, Lalgarh Palace, Camel Breeding Farm, Gajner Palace.

Day 5: BIKANER - JAISALMER

Sing from the heart of the Thar Desert like a golden mirage is the city of Jaisalmer. A commanding fort etched in yellow sandstone stands, with all its awesome splendor, dominating the amber-hued city. Located at the heart of the great Thar Desert, it offers the visitor an enchanting world of fable, color, and history. Moreover, the magnificent wood-and stone-carved mansions and buildings display the love and interest Rajputs had for the fine arts. The desert festival held here by the end of the winter season, during the months of January and February, attracts a large number of domestic and foreign tourists.

Day 6: IN JAISALMER

Stop At: Jaisalmer, Jaisalmer, Jaisalmer District, Rajasthan
After breakfast city tour visiting the massive Jaisalmer Fort, the second oldest fort in Rajasthan after Chittaur, Patwon ki Haveli, the grandest haveli of Jaisalmer, Desert Culture center and museums gives you some glimpse of this small town’s past. The Jain temples meet your religious taste, Salim Singh ki haveli and Nathmal-ki-haveli give you some more idea of the haveli architecture of the town. Besides these, Gadsisar Lake is also an interesting spot to visit in this desert city.

Day 7: JAISALMER - JODHPUR

Set at the edge of the Thar desert, the imperial city of Jodhpur echoes with tales of antiquity in the emptiness of the desert. Once the capital of the Marwar state, it was founded in 1459 A.D. by Rao Jodha-chief of the Rathore clan of Rajputs who claimed to be descendants of Rama - the epic hero of the Ramayana. While the graceful palaces, forts, and temples are strewn throughout the city bring alive the historic grandeur, exquisite handicrafts, folk dances music, and the brightly attired people lend a romantic aura to the city. The jumble of wide winding streets is flanked with pavement stalls.

Day 8: JODHPUR - RANAKPUR

After breakfast city tour visiting Jaswant Thada – A cluster of royal cenotaphs in white marble built-in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Umaid Bhawan Palace – The only 20th-century palace built under the famine relief project that gave employment to famine struck population. The palace was completed in 16 years.

Day 9: RANAKPUR - UDAIPUR

After breakfast drive to Udaipur en-route visiting Ranakpur, the most magnificent 15th-century Jain temples. The most distinctive features are the 29 halls supported by 1444 pillars, of which no two are exactly alike.

Udaipur is a fascinating blend of sights, sounds, and experiences. Right from medieval times, the city has been an inspiration for poets, painters, and writers. Founded in 1559 and named after Maharana Udai Singh, Udaipur became the capital of the Sisodia dynasty whose earlier capital was Chittor. According to legend, the Maharana was out hunting one day when he met a holy man meditating on a hill overlooking the Lake Pichola. The hermit blessed the Maharana and told him to build a palace at that very spot, as it would be well protected. The Maharana followed the holy man”s advice and Udaipur came into being.

Day 10: IN UDAIPUR

After breakfast half day city tour If Jaipur is a city in pink, Udaipur is a study in white. The city is famous for its palaces, lake, museums, temples, and gardens. The City Palace and Museum is considered as the largest palace complex in Rajasthan and its museum has a stunning collection of objects collected by different Maharanas of Udaipur over the centuries. The Pichola Lake, Udai Sagar, and Pratap Sagar are some of the most beautiful lakes in the state. Some other attractions in the city are the Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Jag Mandir, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir, Pratap Memorial, and Ahar Museum.

Day 11: UDAIPUR - PUSHKAR

Day 12: PUSHKAR - JAIPUR

The picturesque capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is instantly recognizable for its pink-washed buildings, a color associated with hospitality in Rajput culture. This beautiful city, along with Agra and Delhi, forms what is known as the Golden Triangle of India's tourist circuit. Jaipur is a city where royalty still lives in the grandeur of its palaces, where fighting for the honor of the clan has never been a need but a way of life, and where treating guests as gods has been a tradition from time immemorial. There is a timeless appeal to Jaipur's colorful bazaars, where you can shop for Rajasthani textiles and trinkets. The beautifully laid out gardens and parks, attractive monuments, and heritage hotels, once the residence of Maharajas, are all worth a look.

Day 13: IN JAIPUR

Stop At: Jaipur, Jaipur, Jaipur District, Rajasthan
Today enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Jaipur - the picturesque capital of Rajasthan. To start off take a morning excursion to Amber Fort. Amber Fort is located 11km from Jaipur and was the old fort of the Kachwaha clan of Amber. The fort is built with white marble and red sandstone and looks even more attractive because of the Maota Lake in the foreground. The fort in itself is a beautiful sight to behold, but its clear reflection on the lake is so beautiful, it seems like an illusion.
This afternoon take part in a city tour visiting the City Palace, the former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles. Jantar Mantar is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch royal processions without being seen. Also, visit Lakshmi Narayan Temple.

Day 14: JAIPUR - FATEHPUR SIKRI - AGRA

Stop At: Fatehpur Sikri, Fatehpur Sikri, Agra District, Uttar Pradesh
After breakfast depart for Agra (approx. 265 Kms, 6-hour journey).
En-route we visit Fatehpur Sikri, made a UNESCO world heritage site due to its stunning imperial complex of pavilions and palaces spread amongst a large abandoned 'city' (37kms from Agra).

This afternoon enjoy a visit to Agra Fort (Red Fort) a fascinating sight, it showcases a high level of ornamentation and the Kohinoor diamond was reportedly part of the furnishings. The fort’s artwork mixes Persian, European and Indian art, resulting in a unique Shahjahani style rich in form, expression and colour. Red Fort is one of the building complexes of India encapsulating a long period of history, arts and its innovative architectural style, including its garden design which influenced later buildings and gardens in Delhi. In 2007, it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Red Fort Complex.

Day 15: AGRA - ORCHHA

Today you will have an option to rise early and visit the Taj Mahal just after sunrise at approx. 6:00am and return to the hotel for breakfast or you can visit just after breakfast.

Stop At: Orchha, Orchha, Tikamgarh District, Madhya Pradesh
Morning transfer to the railway station to board the train to Jhansi, Arrive Jhansi & drive to Orchha & transfer to Hotel. Later tour of this historical site with magnificent temples and monuments. Some of the palaces were decorated with painted murals which represent the finest flowering of the bundela school of painting. Night stay in Orchha.

Day 16: ORCHHA - KHAJURAHO

Stop At: Khajuraho, Khajuraho, Chhatarpur District, Madhya Pradesh
After breakfast drive to Khajuraho Khajuraho- the legendary temples of Khajuraho are an incomparable experience. Acknowledged as one of the world’s artistic wonders, these temples dedicated to the Hindu pantheon of Gods are covered in carvings that are a paean to life and love. Built within a short span of a hundred years by the Chandela Rajputs, the 10th-century temples lay forgotten until they were discovered in the present century. Khajuraho has achieved fame for the sensual appeal of its erotic sculptures. Arrive Khajuraho and transfer to the hotel. Evening at leisure.

Day 17: IN KHAJURAHO

Stop At: Khajuraho, Khajuraho, Chhatarpur District, Madhya Pradesh
The fascinating temples of Khajuraho, India’s unique gift of love to the world, in the state of Madhya Pradesh, were built between 950 and 1050 A.D. The divine sculptures in these temples, are a tribute to life itself, embodying everything that is sublime and spontaneous about it. The murals depict the life and times of the Chandelas and celebrate the erotic state of being. They not only testify to the mastery of the craftsman, but also to the extraordinary breadth of vision of the Chandela Rajputs under whose reign, these temples were constructed.
The temples are grouped into three geographical divisions: western, eastern and southern.
After breakfast explore the Western, eastern and southern temples of Khajuraho while your guide explains the intricate meaning and legends behind each describable sculpture.
Western Group Chaunsat Yogini: The oldest surviving temple in the group (900 A.D.), this is the sole granite temple dedicated to Goddess Kali. Another Kali temple, which was originally dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is the Devi Jagdambe temple.

Day 18: KHAJURAHO - VARANASI

Stop At: Varanasi, Varanasi, Varanasi District, Uttar Pradesh
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Varanasi. On arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to the Hotel for check-in.
The city of Varanasi is situated along the west bank of the Ganges in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Called Benaras by the British, Varanasi is an important pilgrimage center for the Hindus. The city finds mention in the great epics of Mahabharata and Ramayana. It was a flourishing trade center when Buddha came to Sarnath, about 10 kilometers away, to preach his first sermon in 500 BC. The renowned American novelist Mark Twain once wrote: “Benaras is older than history, older than tradition, older even than legend and looks twice as old as all of them put together.” Right from the ancient times, Varanasi has stood as a symbol of Hindu renaissance and preserved the rituals and traditions of Hindu philosophy. Down the ages, pilgrims from distant lands have come to Varanasi in search of divine blessings.
In the Evening witness the glittering Aarti ceremony at the Ganges.

Day 19: IN VARANASI

Stop At: Varanasi, Varanasi, Varanasi District, Uttar Pradesh
Today enjoy an early morning boat cruise on river Ganges.
After breakfast, depart for a city tour of Varanasi. The banks of the Ganges, considered to be a sacred river by the Hindus, are the center of much of the religious activity that occurs in the city. The ghats built along the banks of the river for religious activity also form a major source of attraction here. Other interesting places that you will visit include Alamgir Mosque, Durga Temple, Vishwanat Temple, Bharat Mata temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, and the Archaeological Museum.
In the afternoon enjoy an excursion to Sarnath. Sarnath is devoted to Lord Shiva, the most sacred shrine in Varanasi. It is about 15 km from the holy city of Varanasi, where Buddha decided to convey his first oration. The illustrious Mantra, Buddham Sharanam Gachham, owes its foundation to Sarnath.
