Day 1: Delhi Sightseeing

After Pick up by Driver You will meet your guide at this point and sit back in your Tuk-Tuk
Stop At: Jama Masjid, Off Netaji Subhash Marg, west of Red Fort, New Delhi 110002 India
Your first stop is Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. Spend some time walking around the red sandstone courtyard. It was built in 1656 with the help of 5000 workers. It is situated in front of the royal residence 'Red Fort', in the midst of Chandni chowk.

Red Fort is a massive structure built by Shah Jahan between 1639-1648. It served as the main residence for the Mughal emperors. The architecture of the fort reflects upon the Indo-Islamic and Mughal style. Amazing fact is that it has a 2 KM long wall which is sure to impress anyone.
Stop At: Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Ashoka Road Connaught Place, New Delhi 110001 India
It is said that in the year 1664, the eighth Sikh Guru came to visit the King and cured people who were contracted with smallpox and cholera epidemic by distributing them water from the tank. That water tank, used by the Guru, still exists today inside the gurudwara and is believed to possess medicinal properties.

The 1921 'Tomb of the Unknown Soldier' has names of 13,300 Indian army servicemen carved on the wall who died during the First World War.

After seeing India Gate, you will also drive past Parliament House. You can take pictures and continue to your next monument.

You will be also visiting President's House.
Stop At: Humayun's Tomb, Mathura Road Opp Nizamuddin Mosque, New Delhi 110013 India
It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is the first Garden Tomb of India. The sole purpose of Humayun's wife was to build this tomb after his death.
You can either visit Humayun Tomb or Akshardham Temple.

Stop At: Swaminarayan Akshardham, Nh 24 Akshardham Setu, New Delhi 110092 India
It is one of the biggest Hindu Temples.
It was constructed in 2005 but seems like it has been constructed for over a thousand years because of its architecture.

Stop At: Qutub Minar, Qutb Minar, Mehrauli, New Delhi 110030 India
It is the tallest minaret built up in 1192 with bricks. It is also a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, situated in Mehrauli.
The area around is known as the Qutub complex.

Stop At: Lotus Temple Rd, Bahapur, Shambhu Dayal Bagh, Kalkaji Near Kalkaji Temple, East of Nehru Place, New Delhi 110019 India
This will be your last stop in Delhi. Lotus Temple is a Bahá'í House of Worship that was dedicated in December 1986. Notable for its flower-like shape, it has become a prominent attraction in the city.

After visiting the Taj Mahal at Sunrise come back to the hotel freshen up and have your breakfast. After Breakfast at hotel and check out the hotel you will be driven to Agra Fort - it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in India. Agra Fort is the only fort in India where all early Mughal emperors lived.

The Taj Mahal 'Crown of the Palace' is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the right bank of the river Yamuna in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan (r. 1628–1658) to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal; it also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself. The tomb is the centerpiece of a 17-hectare (42-acre) complex, which includes a mosque and a guest house, and is set in formal gardens bounded on three sides by a crenellated wall.

Agra Fort is a historical fort in the city of Agra in India. It was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638, when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi. It was also known as the “Lal-Qila”, “Fort Rouge” or “Qila-i-Akbari”.

Stop At: Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, Yamuna River, Agra 282001 India
The Tomb of I'timad-Ud-Daulah is a masterpiece of the domeless class of Mughal tombs. It is the first building finished in white marble and marks the transitional phase from red stone to white marble, from Akbar's tomb Sikandra to the Taj Mahal. It reflects the personality of the polished Iranian who lies buried here, and, more than that, the formal and ornamental character of its builder Nur Jehan who ruled the Mughal Empire from behind the curtain for 16 years (1611–27).
