The last leg of the 40 Km journey of 250 km from New Delhi to Lansdowne is most enjoyable. The road, though small and with too many curves, is well covered with long Pine trees. Starting from Kotdwar before the high-rise mountains one can enjoy the small stream flowing nearby. One is tempted to take a dip in the crystal clear water. 17 Km from Kotdwar, after Fathepur, is a small Musafir Cafe on the road itself. Its decor and ambiance were impressive. The owner prepared the ordered items fresh. In the meantime, one can go down the stream behind to enjoy the scenery and quiet flow of crystal clear water
