Very good organised, very competent, respectfull and punctual guides (we were travelling as two women). We saw a lot and there was also enough time to rest. Good choice of indian restaurants for european digestion. Guides were also flexibel to change parts of the tour according to our wishes. We felt definitely safe and well guided :)

The tour of Agra including the Taj Mahal was very informative and to actually see the Taj was an amazing experience. Similarly with Varanasi where to be part of evening and morning ceremonies and rituals was amazing. The overnight train ride(s) from Agra and back to Delhi were also eye-opening for us. Drivers were good and guides shared alot of their knowledge. On the negative side the standard of restaurants chosen for lunch were disappointing and on second occasion unclean to the point of not being able to eat there. Also, despite the early arrival in Varanasi after tiring overnite train trip, there should have been prior confirmation of early checkin at hotel, rather than just having stress and hours of waiting in lobby to see what might happen. Overall though this was a great overall experience and if those couple of areas could be addressed then thoroughly recommend to others! Thanks very much

This escorted tour was a great way to see so much of India in just three nights. This trip showcases a diverse range of India's history visiting Islamic/Hindu/Buddhist sights. Having a guide and a driver meant there was minimal time wastage between sights. Being a private tour allowed them to be flexible with the itinerary each day to accomodate my particular interests and preferences (eg more time for photography) without holding up a group. Be aware that there are obligatory stops at quite a number of "artisan" stores along the way where you'll be shown the manufacturing of marble inlays, silk tapestry, gemstones and jewellery etc which is then followed by the inevitable guided tour of the showroom where they attempt to sell you their wares. The overnight train rides were in "2nd class airconditioned" class so you are in a carriage that has probably around 50 people in there sleeping in bunks.
