In the afternoon the tour takes you to the Old City. The tour captures the organized TUk TUK or Rickshaw Ride and the vibrant culture of India. The red stone walls of Lal Qila, the Red Fort, extend for two km and vary in height from 18m on the river side to 33 m on city Side. Shah Jahan started construction of the massive fort in 1638and it was completed in 1648. He never completely moved his capital from Agra to his new city of Shahjahanbad in Delhi because he was deposed and imprisoned in Agra Fort by his son Aurangzeb.
The Red Fort dates from the very peak of Mughal power. When the emperor rode out the elephants back into the streets of Old Delhi it was a display of pomp and power at its most magnificent.

Day 3: DRIVE DELHI TO AGRA + CITY TOUR

This was the seat of the mighty Mughal Empire before it shifted its capital to Delhi, and it is home to some of their most inspired architectural creations including the Taj Mahal. As a result, Agra attracted artisans, poets and musicians from across India as well as Persia and Central Asia, transforming Agra into a cultural and architectural paradise. This morning you visit the Taj Mahal when it is least crowded. The Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan for his Beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. It took 12 years to build this sublime garden tomb, an image of the Islamic Garden of paradise. It’s perfect proportions and exquisite craftsmanship was the work of artisans from both India and overseas. The Taj Mahal represents the wealth and luxury of Mughal art as seen in architecture & experienced in its layout in a beautifully created lush green garden.

on the way you will stop at Fatehpur Sikri, considered by many to be one of the finest architectural creations after the Taj Mahal. He built three palaces for each of his three wives – one a Hindu, one a Christian and one a Turkish – and each of the palaces incorporated elements of their religion.

Day 5: JAIPUR CITY TOUR

In the morning you visit the magnificent Fort Palace at Amber, and walk through the narrow alleys of the settlements that surround the fort. You will explore these lanes, stopping a tea shop making local snacks, a beautifully carved temple, and a traditional stepwell will feature among the sites along the way. It is a great way to observe the life in a very historic area of Jaipur. You have lunch at 1135 AD at the fort and the afternoon is at leisure with car and guide at your disposal.
