I went on a 10 day trip with the company World Travel Experiences . This is a special trip to welcome the new year 2024. I chose India because I wanted to celebrate New Year's Eve at the place I always wanted to visit : Taj Mahal. The company WTX arranged a very reasonable this trip for me. I traveled alone here and my « 5 stars » driver Sourav Sharma picked me up at 4am at the airport. He was dedicated to me and I was so lucky to meet him in the first 5 days of this travel. He is a man, I must say, wonderful. I have to thank him very much for his work ethic during those days in Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. After Agra, I then took the train to Orcha, Khajuraho and Varanasi and met other drivers who were all very nice. The 6 tour guides I met in each cities were also very knowledgeable. I talked a lot with them and learned more about Indian history and life. I have admired wonderful historical architecture, the mysterious aarti ceremony on the Ganges River, sculptures with super techniques, delicious food and many attractive cultural programs. I finished the journey and went to the airport at 3 am, everything was well arranged, so 5 stars of quality. Of course, there are small things that could be improved like the hotel in Agra, but there is also much to commend the team's efforts. I would like to sincerely thank to Rituraj Singh and Deepak Singh who accompanied me from the first days (Septembre 2023) to built the planning of the trip until the day went I safely returned to France (Janvier 2024). Thank you and see you again one day soon. I will introduce you to my friends. Wishing you more success.
Just returned from my trip to India and I can only say “Thank you World Travel Experiences for making my trip so memorable!” From the moment I booked, I felt great support from the company. Everyone -- from their booking agents to the tour guides, drivers and local representatives -- did a fantastic job. And, when something came up (I was supposed to take an overnight train which was cancelled due to fog), they quickly gave me the alternatives and all was well. I had wanted to visit Varanasi which is not typical for first-time India visitors, so they offered a package with that option and I was sold. India is not an easy country to navigate on your own, so I was so happy I found World Travel Experiences to do the heavy lifting for me.
The tour was well organised and the company is very flexible when it comes to requests & modifications. One example, among many others, was that in order to accommodate our schedule they agreed to split our hotel nights in Delhi (instead of both being at the beginning, to have 1 at the very end of the trip after flying back from Varanasi). The local guides were all friendly and professional, showing you everything you need to visit and allowing flexibility/choice with the less essential sights. The standout from the entire trip was our main driver Mr. Ram Krishan Yadav, who was with us in Delhi, Jaipur & Agra. Friendly from the heart, his smooth driving and calm demeanour put you at ease and it was a real treat to have him for the majority of the tour. Great way to discover India, we highly recommend World Travel Experiences !
We booked this tour as a treat for my retirement. We covered everything I wanted and more. A special mention to Narinder Singh. He, along with a guide picked us up at 3 am in the morning from our UK flight. Each day he picked us up from our hotel right on time and met up with the guide at each city and always confirmed the time for collection for the next morning, never complaining of the ear,y starts for the Taj Mahal etc!!! Narinder was our constant during the 9 days travelling and always made sure we were happy with any alterations. A special treat was visiting a local family during the Diwali festival. Great memories and a special Thank you to him for making our trip run so smoothly.
