Amritsar is famous for its spices. And most of the travelers would be carrying the spices back to their home destination. The shopping is done on the last leg of the trip and hence the spices are carried in hand luggage. And after the main luggage is checked-in, the trial begins when the security personnel deny allowing spices in cabin luggage. By the time your checked-in baggage is gone. So guys do remember to keep the packets of spices purchased in your checked-in luggage. Happy travels.

I was extremely impressed by everyone we met working with Kohinoor travels. We had a wonderful tour and the service was so good, we booked an additional tour through the company. Our trip coordinator Rishi made sure we had a schedule that met our timelines and goals--he was prompt in his communication. He even helped us plan some extra time with a tour of Delhi--our tour guide, Indu, was awesome--she was very knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to go out of her way to provide a good tour. When we got to Amritsar, our guide Sahil and driver were awesome. Sahil provided a great tour and we particularly enjoyed the Golden Temple as Sahil was an excellent guide and thoroughly explained the meaning and traditions of the temple and religion. Both of our guides were professional, friendly, and always early or on time. Our drivers were also professional and friendly. This as an exceptionally well organized and reliable travel company that I would recommend to my friends and use again in a future trip.
