I book the cab from Taj Adventure world and i met the guide in Agra. He took us to Taj Mahal and explained us everything about it. He took his time to take us to the mini taj mahal centre where we can experience the different lightings on Taj mahal.

We had a terrible experience with our guide, Mr. Singh, but Amir from Taj Adventure World went out of his way to try and fix the situation, offering both a refund and a free tour. Unfortunately, we were no longer in India to take Amir up on his generous offer. Amir also assured me that they would not use our guide again. Based on my interactions with Amir, we are chalking this up to bad luck with our guide, and we would consider using the company again. My original review is as follows: The tour is described on TA as covering the following sites: Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, Red Fort, Rajghat, India Gate, Parliament House, President House, Jantar Mantar, Jama Masjid, Akshardam Temple. Out of these locations, our guide, Mr. Singh, took us to Jama Masjid, Lotus Temple, and the President House. We could also see the India Gate en route to the President House, but we were quite far from it -- at least a ten minute walk to the gate itself. As for the other sites, Qutab Minar, Rajghat, Jantar Mantar, and Akshardam Temple, we did not even go to the location. The guide insisted that Akshardam Temple and Qutab Minar were either too far away or the queue was too long. He never even brought up Rajghat or Jantar Mantar during the tour. While we declined to visit the Red Fort, the guide had mentioned it was nothing to see since the Amber Fort in Jaipur and Agra Fort were more impressive. In retrospect, I am not convinced the guide had our best interests in mine. Throughout the tour, he was disinterested and often provided many "reasons" to not get closer and to view the site from afar, e.g. "nothing interesting to see", "inconvenient, needing to leave bags or shoes behind", etc. Mr. Singh's only enthusiasm was to take us to the "local cottage shops" with their high pressure salesmen. This was expected, but it still made me feel uncomfortable, especially in light of how many sites were cut out from the tour.
