Overview

After pickup from the airport or your hotel in an air-conditioned private car, head straight to the 16th-century Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Mughal monument that inspired the Taj Mahal. Then, drive south to another iconic Mughal site: the Qutub Minar, the world’s tallest brick minaret and a remnant of Delhi's ancient dynasties.

Jump forward a thousand years with a visit to the Lotus Temple, a unique, petal-shaped white marble structure—last of seven Bahai temples in the world. After a lunch break, head to the 17th-century, Mughal-built Jama Masjid, the largest and most spectacular mosque in India and one of the standout sights in Old Delhi.

From there, swing by the India Gate, New Delhi a symbol of modern India. Lastly, stop by the unforgettable Red Fort, a former royal residence built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, before drop-off to your hotel.

We will try to cover most of the places as per the duration of the tour. Maybe will miss some spots.

Having a guide like Anil who was cool, calm, collective, and knowledgeable greatly enhanced my experience and made my trip more enjoyable and memorable. It's important to have someone who is knowledgeable about the history, culture, and landmarks of the city, as they can provide interesting insights and stories that you might not find in guidebooks. Additionally, a calm and collected guide can help create a relaxed atmosphere, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of Old and New Delhi. Visual and auditory treats kept coming besides the tasty meal and snacks along the way. Love love it Anil.

I had such a blast doing the Delhi City Tour with Tour4Fun! It was so nice to have a guide to show us all the best spots in Old Delhi in particular, so we didn't have to be overwhelmed and could simply enjoy! It made me LOVE Old Delhi, a place I was a bit nervous about. Seriously, if you're thinking of doing a tour, do it with Tour4Fun!
