This was a brilliant way to learn about Indian culture in a relaxed, homey setting. JD is very attentive, answers all my questions about food (and Indian politics) and ensures you learn the method and how it shapes the flavours. He very kindly arranged everything to fit around my (many) food intolerances at next to no notice. I’m very grateful for this, thank you JD!
This experience in Delhi is an absolute must-do! JD graciously extended an invitation for us to immerse ourselves in his family's home and delve into the world of Indian cooking. Beyond mastering culinary techniques, we gained invaluable insights into the intricacies of Indian spices and kitchen hacks. JD and his father orchestrated the evening seamlessly, ensuring we departed with not only satisfied bellies but also enriched with newfound knowledge.
I absolutely loved this experience! JD and his dad were so kind, inviting us into their home and teaching us how to make different curries and bread. Everything was so well thought out, the food was delicious and it was just an absolute blast. This was my second experience with JD and I would continue to book more (if I had more time in Delhi!) If you’re considering booking this experience, do it! You won’t regret it.
I had never done one of JD's cooking classes and was pleasantly surprised. We had some of the best Indian food I had ever had. And we made it ourselves!!! We loved being in an Indian home for the experience and meeting his parents. He was good at giving instructions and made the experience fun along the way. He was also very accommodating and if we needed anything he got it for us.
One of the best meals I ate in India during my 2 week stay - chicken tikka masala. I learned a lot about the techniques and tips on improving my cooking skills. The experience felt very personalized and Jd was friendly to host me. I got to learn how to cook delicious Indian food and had a great time.
