Our driver and guide, mr. Girdhar Singh, did a great job. The driver navigated like a pro through the traffic. Fabulous job! And our guide was enthousiastic, graceous and friendly. He gave us ample information at every site and in between the visits we got extra background on Indian culture. We had planned this tour on the 1st day in Delhi and this turned out to be a good idea. We got to see the 6 sites we’d selected and the drive from one to another gave us an idea of the town. So by the second day we had some points of recognition.

Highly recommended! It might be cheaper to see the sights on your own; however, since we were on vacation, we preferred to book a private tour so we could be in an air conditioned private car all day with water provided (it was VERY hot). In addition, we were 3 women and did not speak the language, so a professional guide was very helpful. Our guide, Dev, was fantastic! He provided excellent explanation and photography and was very nice. It was like traveling with another friend, who was knowledgeable in all the sights. The driver, Mr. Muudhi, did not speak as much English, but was always punctual, professional, and friendly. They even took us to a few extra stops and made sure we were completely satisfied with our visit before dropping us off. Lunch is not included, but they drop you off at a recommended restaurant, depending on your preference.

One of the most convenient, and enjoyable ways to have a quick glance into Delhi. The places we picked were amazing and our guide was fabulous unfortunately I lost the piece of paper with his name on it. He was full of so much knowledge, and had a real passion for the places he showed us. The car accommodation was very well looked after, the driver was fabulous, and we have so many memories from this trip. Highly recommend.

This tour was quite misleading - as some of the listed choices were not suitable for day visits eg Hauzkaas is a clubbing district, with nothing to see in the day. This is a La Vacanza Travel complaint nothing to do with local provider. The guide did help us with that and suggested alternatives... and in fact said we could tailor the day to anywhere we like - most of which were great. However one of those alternatives was a trip to his friend selling Kashmir carpets for several thousand pounds. We were led into a room under the ruse of visiting 'an interesting higher quality market' - only to find it was a timeshare style lock-in sales pitch. Very annoying and and time wasting and we were not impressed.
Another La Vacanza Travel issue - grossly overpriced. Most of the options listed here were free entry or minimal charge - and the travel cost is nothing in Delhi - so again massively inflated rip off for tourists, to line La Vacanza Travel's already heavy pockets.
