We had the number one driver - D.K. who keeps a perfectly clean car and amazingly drives in traffic coming at us from all directions! Our guide Mahesh was very knowledgeable and kept us moving in his patient manner. We booked several days of private tours with these two. And all I can say is that if you only have booked one day, you will be hungry for more and wishing you had more days! Perhaps you do, and so I highly recommend any of the tours with this company. We ended up booking many private day tours with 3 different guides through Pacific Classic Tours India. I cannot say enough how impressed we were with the first class service. We always had bottled water, the car was very roomy & comfortable. D.K. drives very well and so makes the passenger very relaxed. Mahesh shared the history and complex weaving of these historical places with present day India. The restaurants were chosen for safety with tourists who might have sensitive stomachs. This was a first class tour at a reasonable price.

I spent a lot of time comparing the seven various Delhi day tours listed on La Vacanza Travel. This one seemed the most clear and comprehensive -- on paper. Happily, in practice, it was also quite good.

The guide Mr. Singh and driver arrived early and were waiting for me a 9:00 in the lobby. Plus, a boss from the company joined them to ensure that all was well.

The guide was knowledgeable and receptive about squeezing in two extra destinations feasible since it was Sunday and traffic was not so heavy. He was also good about giving the right amount of information balanced not too little and not too much boring overkill. He also had a depth of knowledge to draw on to answer any questions.

The official tour does not include a set lunch but they let you do that as you wish. I wanted caffeine and hit Starbucks when I grabbed a small sandwich.

I was quite please with this city tour. My main tip is to avoid the heavy traffic and go on a Sunday if you can.

The Guide and the driver were very forthcoming and took me to all the promised places, while providing the adequate amount of history to each location. Altough I ended buying some things at an emporium, the visit to this shop was not really necessary. Apart from that everything else was tip-top, everyone very professional and attentive.
