It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal during 1631 - 1653. The Taj Mahal is synonymous to love and romance. It took 21 long years to complete this masterpiece with the help of a huge labor force of 20,000 workers.

A vast museum of interesting buildings, started by Akbar. Each successive Mughal Emperor right up to Aurangzeb contributed something. Construction of the Agra Fort started in 1565 and was completed in 1573.

Stop At: Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, Yamuna River, Agra 282001 India

Visit to Itimad Ud Daulah (Mini Taj). Before the Taj Mahal built, its design was already standing in the form of Itmad Ud Daulah's Tomb. Built to represent a silver jewel box in marble, this mausoleum houses the body of Mirza Ghiyas Beg, the father of the Mughal Empress Noor Jahan.

The car provided was small. poor Ac, no water(as stated in what's included), also no wifi( also suppose to be available. The guide knew the necessary information re: sites but was not neatly dressed. Did not like being taken to a tile shop to shop. Waste of over 1/2 hour when we could have been on the road back to Delhi.

The car provided was small, no water, no wifi, poor AC according to specs of included items these were not provided. The guide was knowledgeable, but was not neat in his appearance. We were glad to seethe Taj, but wish the tour had been better.

Car was small, untidy. No internet or water as stated on what's included. Guide was not neatly dressed. Did have good knowledge of area.Did not like tile shop. Very long drive to and from Delhi. No ones fault, but a nicer car with water as promised would have made trip easier to handle.

My friend & I went to Delhi so we could go see the Taj Mahal. This tour was great! Communication with owner was good as he was very responsive and gave info as needed and timely. The driver showed up to our hotel on time and drove us 3 hrs to Agra. Car was comfortable with AC. Stop made for bathroom n snacks. We met guide in Agra and he took us on the guided tour of the Taj Mahal. He was very informative. Lunch at a 5 star restaurant was great! They do take you to local businesses (marble, carpets, scarves, jewelry) to get you to buy stuff. Agra Fort was included. Pleasant ride back to Delhi. We left at 7 am and returned around 8:30 pm. Price is comparable to others but this trip offers just a little more for your money. I will recommend people use this business.
