What Can You Expect?

Early in the morning you will be picked up by a private vehicle, and set off for 4-hour journey to Agra. Your first stop will be the Taj Mahal.

Agra is the city of the Taj Mahal - perhaps the most-photographed monument in the world. At dawn you can experience the magic caused by the reflections of the changing colors of the rising sun. Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.

After Taj Mahal, you will ride to the massive Agra Fort. The elegant buildings reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles, built by Emperor Akbar. Explore the maze of courtyards, mosques and private chambers of the fort, that echo the story of the Mughal Empire .

Afterwards, you will have an Indian lunch and after lunch you will drive to Fatehpur Sikri. It is a perfectly preserved city from the height of its empire’s splendor. You will have 90 minutes of exploring, before you head back to Agra.

Afterwards you will be dropped back to your hotel in Delhi.

We were picked up by the driver on time. In fact, the driver was early. The trip to the Agra was very smooth with a stop for breakfast. We met the local guide Dheeraj in Agra. He was very knowledgeable, explained a lot of details about the architecture and took fantastic pictures of us. He’s quite funny as well. Dheeraj took us around Taj Mahal and the Red Fort. Lunch was at a buffet place. We were also taken to a marble shop but we didn’t buy anything. The shop owner was nice.

My family had a great time on this day trip. Everything went smoothly and the Akbran Tour group made sure we had everything we needed. All the people were helpful including the office staff, driver, and tour guide. Even the owner came out to greet us in Agra. We recommend this tour highly.
