The entire experience was amazing from start to finish. Perfect meeting location to start the tour. Our guide, Christopher made the experience very genuine and sincere. He provided many unexpected viewing locations that tremendously enhanced the overall experience. His knowledge of the events and the sequence made this experience very meaningful for us as first time visitors.

The walk around the grounds was very good and learning about what happened from the very knowledgable guide (Richard) was 1st class. There were some heart wrenching things in the museum to see and hear about.

We arrived at Ground Zero early and we walked over to the meeting point where we were met by a street vender who asked if we were waiting for a tour he took us into Starbucks and introduced us to the professor. We were fortunate that we were the only ones that day taking the tour which made it more personal. The professor then took us to various points of relevance and with the use of large A3 photos taken during that time gave us a graphic in depth description that helped us to experience just what happened that day. The professor was very Knowledgeable and also added in personal information that helped us to understand the enormity of it all. We personally felt that so much was covered during the tour which gave us a real feel about this tragic event that just going to the museum itself wouldn't have meant as much. Can't thank La Vacanza Travel and the professor enough for this lifetime experience we would definitely recommend this tour to others wanting to learn about Ground Zero.
