It’s hard for senior parents to impress our adult children, but we pulled it off with the private limo tour to see the light displays in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn. The whole evening was fantastic and a highlight of our week in NYC. Victor, our driver, picked us a few minutes early from our Times Square hotel and was very pleasant, courteous, and accommodating all evening. We were furnished with two bottles of champagne, bottled water, cokes, and chocolates. Our 27 yo son had fun playing DJ over the sound system all evening and changing up the lights in the back. Our 31 yo daughter and son-in-law said it was “extra” (meaning extra special). It was so relaxing to ride around visiting with each other with no other agenda or deadline. Once we got to Dyker Heights, Victor had us get out at one place for a group photo. On another busy road, we had him drop us off and pick us up 4-5 blocks down the street so we could see some of the yard displays up close. Dyker Heights did not disappoint with the extravagant light displays. On the way back, Victor stopped at DUMBO (Down Under Manhattan Bridge Overpass), without us asking, where he knew there were restrooms and a great view of the Manhattan skyline. We ended the evening by having him drop us at a restaurant where we had made reservations. We all agreed that it would have been fun to just do this again but just drive around the city with no particular destination in mind. Dyker Heights was frosting on the cake!

Our driver was excellent but the program as a whole needs to be managed better. We were picked up in Times Square and it took an hour of our time to get to Dyker Heights. By the time we arrived we had only 20 minutes. We then had to head back and didn’t have time to even go see the Rockefeller Christmas tree. There were only bottles of wine in the limo and no soda beverages that were said to have been included. This was worth about $250, not over $700.

Greg was a great guide. Especially for the car enthusiasts - we saw many amazing one of a kind sights.including the Brooklyn Bridge port -an added bonus

Loved Brooklyn’s Dyker Heights. Was disappointed we weren’t taken to Rockefeller Centre to see Christmas tree.
